The white haired girl laughed a bit. "Ah, don't worry, Chairman Pegasus can insult me as much as he wants. But it doesn't bother me~" She went over to the machine that Ally was hooked up to. She entered a few codes and the machine started to make the steady beep sound, monitoring Ally's vital signs again. "Aha, I guess I accidently disabled all of the machinery here..." She sighed. The door opened and Lore walked in. "Kyra, your robot friend left. He said something about a Divine Temple and despair, but that's about all I caught." Kyra laughed. "Friend? Well, that's nice. But I ... uh... Well, we should concentrate on letting Ally heal. I'm sure nothing bad will happen. There are guards at all the doors. so..."

Kyra stood and smiled at Ally and Pegasus. "I'll be off then, if the robot comes back, tell me, and I'll disable him." She turned and left the room. Lore stared at Pegasus for a moment. We, the Yliaster, are the last remaining souls of the future.” Crimson eyes narrowed, an emotionless expression on the android’s face. “Are you here to try to stop us too?”

That was Yusei’s time. Knowing this, he wasn’t worried about where he was anymore.

Dimitri’s heart was pounding, he won! He really did! But for some reason he didn’t felt so great. He started listening carefully the android’s monologue and was taken back by the terrifying visage.Was that really the future? That was really what he was fighting for? Dimitri almost felt ashamed for winning, really. He just wanted to survive, but he knew Aporia’s methods were wrong.

” I’m not trying to stop you.” Dimitri said, dropping the act. He stepped to Aporia and stood close to him ” I too want a future, a good future to look up to. But I can’t say I agree with your methods. I mean, yeah, greed is one of the roots of today’s problems but I don’t think that’s the best way to get rid of it.” Dimitri nodded, even through he is a copycat, he understood that.

” I think…The best way to fight greed is to change the way people think. It might be hard, but you never now, right? Like I said earlier, the duel isn’t over until the last card is played. If we know the future, we might be able to stop it. Or we might potentially cause it by trying to stop it but who knows? It’s worth a try.” he mused

” Tell me, Aporia. Is it fair? Is it fair you crush a family today and leave a orphan crying so another kid can have their parents alive in the future? Do the people here today are less worth living than the ones in the future? How you can say your ideal future is bright if it’s going to be built piling up innocent bodies as it’s foundations? Don’t everybody deserves a future?”

There was no point in telling him Dimitri wasn’t the real Jaden. He didn’t needed to claim the glory and he felt the big guy would be devastated to know he lost to a faker.

The android finally managed to stand, small sparks still coming from his body. He looked at Jaden and sighed. "Perhaps this is what Paradox meant when he said that he had found what we have been missing." A small smile appeared on his face. "I suppose you really are the hero Paradox said you were." He hadn't encountered anyone before who seemed to understand, who seemed to have logic behind their argument.

"Antinomy, Paradox, and myself... we were created from memories of our human selves so Z-ONE would not be so lonely. And then, we were sent to different times. It was not our way to question Z-ONE, our creator and God... but if he truly is going to kill innocents... the people who have no greed in their hearts... then he is wrong. Then we, the remaining members of the Yliaster, should help him realize that he is wrong."

Aporia nodded a bit. "Yes, it is true, that our future lies in despair, but... perhaps if we try hard enough... then people will realize that they... we.. should all change. We should work toward a bright future together." He put a hand on Jaden's shoulder. "If I have to fight Z-ONE alone, I will. If he has gone so far into his loneliness, then I will show him that he is not alone."

He felt something in his own heart change. He didn't have to just be a machine. He was a living being, perhaps created by memories, but had the ability to form new ones. And if Z-ONE thought that his new feeling was a glitch, then so be it. "... Thank you, Jaden. Perhaps you will help bring hope to the future too. I do not know if I will find my way back to Ark Cradle easily from this time period, but I know that perhaps we will meet again."

The fake Jaden gasped and lowered his head as Wisel destroyed his monster, and suddenly he started to chuckle and then to laugh. What a relief! It worked! He couldn’t believe it!

” What I’ll do? Why, I’m going to thank you of course! You can cancel but one spell card, right?”

He smirked. It was time ” Pot of Greed!” he cried, activating the other spell card in his hand. Please! Please deck, make it work!

Dimitri drew the other two cards, he was trembling. ” Alright.” he said in his own normal tone.

” I normal summon Burstinatrix. From my hand, Miracle Fusion! I fuse Bubbleman and Burstinatrix from my field and Bladedge from my graveyard! Come out, Vision Hero Trinity (2500/2000)!”

The true Jaden would never consider using something other than his Elemental Heroes or the Neo-Spacians (his exclusive cards). He owned this to the advice he got from Yami and Yusei themselves.

” During the turn it’s summoned, Vision Hero Trinity’s attack power doubles!” Dimitri announces, excited. His monster roars as its attack jump from 2500 to 5000! ” And guess what? I’ve been keeping track of your life points too, big guy! You got only 1000!”

The blast from Wisel's destruction knocked Aporia back, his body slamming against a tree. Another electric jolt surged through his body. Crimson eyes flickered darker, visions of the future before his eyes. "Z-ONE... I've failed you again..." Where did this kid's strength come from? He moved to stand again, but was kept down by sparks that came from his own damaged wiring. He had taken a good amount of hits, and would have to ask Z-ONE to fix him... if Z-ONE would accept him back. "Is this what Paradox felt...?" Maybe the Yliaster was wrong... Maybe people could shape the future with their own hands. His eyes focused back on Jaden.

"This world is the only one we have... In the future, it's ruined... I...We, the Yliaster... were sent to fix the broken future in order to bring harmony back to the world. You are a good duelist, Jaden. But preventing a dark future... preventing humanity's greed... can you do that too?" The android closed his eyes for a moment. "It is in the end the hearts of humans that ends the world. If only humans understood..." The gem on his forehead flashed and the scenery changed. A scene with a boy screaming for his parents, then a young man crying wile holding a broken blaster, and finally an old man sitting alone in a ruined world. The vision faded and Aporia watched Jaden's face again. "That is the future. There are four remaining humans in that future... and we die, leaving our God, Z-ONE alone..."

A sad smile crossed his face. "We, myself, Antinomy, Paradox, and Z-ONE have lived so long in despair... We are the chosen ones to open up the future and save the world from destruction. Why do you try to stop us, Jaden?"

The copycat screamed in pain, it was a powerful attack. He never had endured that much pain before, so it’s how it is for Jaden? Sure, he had some very dangerous duels during the Survival Duels and at the another dimension duels, but something was different. The dread, this overwhelming fear and despair, he never felt it before

He looked up at the life points. He was at 1200, but he could do it. He followed that guy’s advice, he’s not just blindly mimicking anymore, he’s a step ahead now.

” The duel isn’t over until the last card is played! DRAW!”

That’s it, it’s his last chance. He sure needed to make good use of it
