Armie Hammer on the set of Nocturnal Animals in LA, November 16, 2015.
The Russian walks over to Charles and hugs him. "I am back. I missed you."
“You absolute arsehole, I missed you so much.”
“I missed you so much…”
“And I missed you.” He looks like he wants to kiss Charles, but even still he stays where he is.
The Russian walks over to Charles and hugs him. "I am back. I missed you."
“You absolute arsehole, I missed you so much.”
“And I missed you..I was saving the world. I’m sorry.”
“You never answered me. I called for you for so long, across Cerebro, across everything I could think of. I thought you were…”
“Please don’t cry..” He wipes away Charles’ tears. “I could hear you. I just..I couldn’t respond. It would have been dangerous for me to do so. I’m sorry my dear Charles.”

“It’s for their own good.”
"Mr. Gibson, yes?"
“Depends on who wants to know.”
“I have plenty of free time and no reason to stay in the freezing cold for the rest of my life. I wanted to meet the man who took down the Fraternity in person.” Illya replied, giving him a gentle smile. “Also I was tired of doing the SVR RF’s dirty work. Being a spy is not as fun as it sounds, nor does it pay as well as I’d like. So, here I am.”
“So… What do you plan to do now? I’d offer you a job, but I kinda blew the place up,” Wesley joked. He was a little bit in awe of this man. It wasnt until after he’d gone on a murder spree through the Chicago Fraternity that he even realised just how many international arms the Fraternity network had, so actually /meeting/ another member… Well. He wasn’t quite ready to drop his guard just yet.
Illya chuckles. “Well, I don’t need to worry about money for the rest of my life, so, I do not need a job.” He looks around, smiling. “I was thinking I’d get to know Chicago. I’ve never been here.” Wesley was likely armed, and Illya was armed. They both knew better than to drop their guards around each other, not yet. “Where do you recommend visiting?”
“Uh….” Fuck, he didn’t know. He’d never had the time or money to go sightseeing. It sounded stupid to say he didn’t even know his own town, though. “Do I look like a tour guide to you? Try the museums or something if you like crowds.” He gave a half-hearted shrug and turned away. Wesley was sure the Russian wanted more then he was saying, but Wesley didn’t have the patience to wait all day to find out.
“Shame. There goes my plan of trying to get to know you.” Illya laughed softly. He turned to walk away.

“These steps were constructed in 1723. Credited to…to Italian architects. Really, built by Russians. Serge…Ivanoff. Now, Serge also had a mother: Yagoda. Who introduced him to classical architecture and whom he revered as his muse. Unfortunately for Serge, his mother died in the middle of construction.”
