Apparently there are enough of their own Citizen, that blow up things, but this one seems to be on the ‘regular side’. Which is quite a relief. It is also quite nice to meet someone once in a while, that doesn’t freak out about what he is.

“War is never fair, and I was initially hoping, I wouldn’t witness one in a place like this. Now we just have to make the best out of it. It really is a shame though, I’d welcome a good tea now.”

— [ ϟ ] — It's true that there are those intending to cause chaos no matter their origins, but even so, self preservation is usually a goal to be had in mind. And with self preservation comes a need to protect oneself, even if lying is the only option. Nice to know that she's a decent individual despite her pragmatism.

❝So would I, truth be told. How about we meet again when all this is said and done? I can brew a mean pot of chamomile.❞ She clasps her hands together conversationally, before turning grim. ❝Of course, we'd have to survive all of this, first. I must confess that I haven't quite expected to see a war during my stay here, either.❞

Mantis, while he would be powerful enough to join the fights, decided to rather help people that are buried by debris, or wounded and forgotten. On his way, he’s running into a woman and stops. Is she from this World? Or one from the other side? Will she possibly attack him?

“I’m a citizen from this side of Hive City. Where are you from?”

— [ ϟ ] — While Elesa has long reached the logical conclusion that some animals in this city are capable of human speech, it is still considered an oddity. As a Pokemon trainer, it would just seem odd if her Emolga suddenly starts speaking, she supposes. Nevertheless, it is still a surprise, at first, that the bug-type suddenly addressed her.

She recovers quickly. She's good at that.

❝I'm from here, too. Shame we couldn't have met over a cup of tea, instead,❞ she quips sarcastically with a winning smile. ❝Even if I wasn't from here, I'd like to think that I would still help out the...innocents caught up in all this. War isn't fair, some have said. Suppose now I can see their point.❞

HOMEWORLD ELESA Has her full team back and ready to kick some ass. Despite her glamorous appearance, Elesa is hardy and ready to defend herself and the Hive. She is surprisingly cold and businesslike, heart hardening as a sort of survivalist mentality. Even so, she's someone who has s good heart, so while she behaves firmly, she will, by no means behave violently or villainous. OTHERWORLD ELESA Seeming to be much like her canon counterpart, though in fact, her calm and collective nature hides cruelty. Her faith in others has been lost completely, leaving her to be an entirely self serving individual. Instead of hiding kindness with her bluntness, she hides more sinister thoughts. On the other hand, she is more apt to use others. She takes advantage of her feminine beauty and has no qualms about using her looks to gain what she desires. While certainly a bad dame, she is the sort to work towards her goals from the shadows. Her Pokemon teams remains the same as her Homeworld self for the sake of keeping things simple.

[ ♬ ]—— Ibuki lets out a squeal, fingers wriggling as the squirrel-like creature glides over to her. Despite herself, she tries to be super careful while reaching with a hand to pet Emolga’s head. A bit of static rushes into her fingers, but it’s not painful enough to make her stop the affections. She dealt with worse electroshocks during performances whenever her electric guitar started acting up.

      “Hehehe, tickles!” she comments, scratching behind Emolga’s ear before rubbing under her chin, assuming that Pokemon love affection the same way regular animals do. “So she’s the only one you’ve got back, then, Elesa-chan? Ibuki desires to see your entire team in the future!”

— [ ϟ ] — Emolga is exhilarated, Elesa can tell. A wave of static runs across the creature, sparking and crackling, though the energy enough wouldn't even be enough to harm a newly hatched Magikarp. Bristling with joy, unaware that she may be causing discomfort, the Pokemon admires the attention.

Elesa, while remaining cool headed as usual, closely watches the two. She doesn't seem so, but is careful to make sure that nothing goes awry. She doesn't believe that could happen, but, she is conditioned to always be careful.

❝I… wish to see my entire team in the future, too. I just hope that the scientists here don't go back on their word.❞

“That I would be~” he said, smiling cheerfully. “The first elite, in fact. My name is Will.” He gave her a small bow, still happy that she recognized him. He knew he shouldn’t be; after all, if you were an elite, you were quite famous and well known. However, with the childhood he had, it still made him happy to be known, especially in positive terms.

“And you would be one of the Unovian gym leaders, correct?”

— [ ϟ ] — ❝Indeed, I am. Elesa, the gym leader of Nimbasa City. Traditionally, I am the fourth leader that trainers battle.❞

She performs a half-bow in return, preferring a more informal handshake, really. Even so, a spot of theatrics isn't bad every now and then. She's pleased that he's pleased, and appreciates being recognized, besides.

❝Oh, but of course that isn't as impressive as you, Will.❞

He wonders for a moment if she recognizes him – probably not, given they never actually had a match. N had never intended to face any of the gym leaders; what point was there in subjecting his friends to such unnecessary things? They never met directly at his castle, either, so if she’s seen his face he can’t be sure.

Regardless of whether she knows him, he knows her.

— [ ϟ ] — She's performed her research. Looked into as many Team Plasma members as she possibly could. Impossible it is to have been able to dissect every member, at least the identities of the verdant haired father and son duo were placed firmly in her mind. It doesn't help that she was a part of his castle's infiltration team, or that he was rumored to visit Nimbasa's ferris wheel. Honestly, she'd be a fool not to vaguely recognize him, at least.

❝Mmhm. Are you N?❞ She asks bluntly with pursed lips. Not denying or confirming his questions, she dives back in. Her retaliations are not harsh or accusatory. They just are. ❝Tell me, is my assumption correct?❞

     Once the book was removed from Morgan’s stomach and was handed back to the lady before him would he work to catch his breath, heaving a bit but otherwise relatively unharmed. He would let out a small cough just to get the rest of it out of his system before turning back to the woman standing before him. 

“ A scholar? “ A bemused laugh quickly escaped his lips at being called such. “ I wouldn’t quite call so but to be thought of such is quite a compliment if I might ask! I don’t think I would mind being a scholar.. “ Thinking on the matter for a moment, his mind hadn’t processed what she had said about immortality, going along with what she said, nodding his head. 

“ Yes.. learning all you can.. Morgan the scholar.. “ His mind snapped back into attention once more when she had asked him what was on his reading list, Morgan looking at all the books behind him before letting off just a rather embarrassed chuckle. 

“ I can’t quite say anything in particular. More so I just came here to find some reading to do! Fantasy, non-fiction, history, geography, as long as there are words scrawled across pages organized in a reasonable manner I’m going to read it! “

— [ ϟ ] — She feels a little guilty, actually. A little too favoring of her self image, it seems foolish to be lugging this book around carelessly -- and even more foolish to be bumping into another library patron. He doesn't seem to mind all too much, though that doesn't compare to the guilty look gracing Elesa's features.

So he isn't a scholar? Strange, he seems like one. Elesa prides herself in her judge of character, already taking note of his unique, mage-like manner of dress and familiarity around books. He seems to enjoy the idea of being a scholar, at any rate.

❝Well, its certainly a worthy cause. Especially here when you're…❞ She carelessly waves a hand. Already having mentioned their cruel fate, there is little need to elaborate further. ❝Regardless, I can't believe that you're not a scholar with the way you speak so fondly of books!❞

A momentary pause hangs in the air as Elesa idly inspects the spines of various books on the shelf. Nonfiction. Scientific even. Studies of electrical currents and schematics of machines. Surprisingly fitting for the beauty, however impossible that seems.

Eyes still idly trailing spines of books, she muses, ❝What are you, then, if you're not a scholar? Morgan, is it?❞

Porrim was still getting used to the hustle and bustle of this strange city.  She hadn’t a boonbuck to her name, but thankfully this train didn’t require a fare.  One thing she could say for it is that it was quite lively.  She paid no mind to those she passed in the crowd with the exception of a “pardon me” dropped hither and thither.  It wasn’t until she heard an unfamiliar voice call out a familiar name that she turned on her heel.  

“Kanaya?  She’s here?”  The troll glanced around for a moment before coming to realize what had actually transpired.  Her shoulders dropped ever so slightly.  “I… think there’s been a mistake.”  Arms folded upon each other out of habit.  

“I’ll give yo+u po+ints fo+r being at least partially right, tho+ugh.  Kanaya is my dancesto+r.  May I ask who+ yo+u might b—Watch where yo+u’re go+ing!”  Smile turned to frown as a needlessly rude and garishly clad passerby forced his way past them.  She huffed.  “I usually try to+ abstain fro+m judging ot+hers, but he lo+o+ked like the type that wo+uld be mean to+ girls o+n any given day.”

Her attention returned to the young woman before her after she regained her composure.  “I can’t help but no+tice that striking ensemble yo+u’re wearing.  Why do+n’t we get o+ut o+f this drab place so+ we can have a nice little chat?  Where were yo+u headed?”

— [ ϟ ] — She realizes the error of her ways immediately, cheeks blush stricken in response to her fault. Clearly she has just let out an unnecessary outburst, presenting herself in a foolish manner. There is a clear resemblance between this troll and Kanaya, genetics linking them together tightly. Even with that in mind, it is obvious that they are different.

❝I apologize. I--❞ I suppose I miss her… Surprisingly melancholic despite how much of a survivor she is, Elesa supposes she is still reeling from her embarrassing outburst. The Gym Leader doesn't make mistakes. She doesn't speak without thinking. First time for anything.

She's actually thankful for the rude passerby and the distraction he provides. Though she agrees with the troll, and even cries out in disgust alongside her, at least the moment of weakness is set aside.

❝Yes, we should move. Whether he's a disaster or not, behavior like his is unfortunately normal in a big city.❞ Though walking the streets in Unova, Elesa was hardly messed around with. ❝I'm heading home after work, actually. I wouldn't mind company along the way.❞

She's already heading out of the crowd, though slowly to allow the troll to match her stride. At an initial glance, it seems foolish to walk home with a stranger, but considering how ninety-nine percent of Hive City's population are strangers to Elesa, she's lax in this regard. Besides, Emolga's on hand if she needs her.

❝I am Elesa. Kanaya was a friend of mine. And you are her dancestor? What an odd word.❞

     Where ever there were books, that was basically Morgan’s calling. Being in any general area stuffed to the brim with knowledge, he just had to get something in terms of an advancement in enhancing his mind. That was why this day combined with the general area he was in he deemed like a good enough combination to hunt down some good reading. Scanning the aisles and spines of the books before him, he would lose himself in deciding what to decide, only to come across someone else in a rather unpleasant manner.          A hasty bump and soon both figures seemed to topple over, a heavy tome falling on Morgan’s stomach right after and taking some wind after him, the boy letting out a wheeze and a huff, only to look forward. It seemed that it was a girl that had run into him on accident as he worked to get the tome off of himself, clearing his throat a bit and trying to get some air back into him, before responding.

" O-Oh no.. it’s fine.. I was just as easily distracted..! Here I.. believe this is your’s..! " Lifting up the heavy tome, he’d quickly present it back to the individual before himself, a pained yet happy smile on his face.

" Never have I seen such a large book.. it seems like you’ll be busy with this for quite some time..! "

— [ ϟ ] — The young man appears to be more fitting for this sort of thing than she. Bookish and robed, he reminds her of a mage from a fairytale or a scholar. She brightens up slightly upon seeing someone who probably harbors a vast well of knowledge. It is always nice to know where useful people are.

❝Distracted? Sounds like you're quite the scholar if you ask me.❞ She chuckles lightly, graciously taking the tome back with a smile. No malice is detected from her words; as far as she's concerned, this is an honest mistake.

❝Yes, it is rather large, isn't it. Being technically immortal in a sense, I feel like there is an opportunity to learn about the things I couldn't learn before. I try to be optimistic, even if I don't appear that way.❞ She glances down at the book in her hands. In Unova, she never would have been able to slog through such a book. Reading has always been an acceptable hobby, definitely, but it wasn't like she was immortal and trapped back home. ❝So, what of you? What's on your reading list, today?❞

[ ♬ ]—— ”Ibuki must have passed ‘em by, then. Whoever they are, they haven’t shown off their Pokemon at all! Maybe that’s why she couldn’t tell them apart!” She places a finger on her chin and taps it in brief thought. Asking Elesa a list of her friends would be the most sensible option, but the sight of that sphere brings all of her attention away from those thoughts.

      Eyes shine in amazement when the Pokeball opens to reveal a creature she can vaguely identify as a flying squirrel with a neat color pattern that matches Elesa’s clothes. It’s stunningly beautiful. Ibuki clasps her hands together, sparkling and cooing towards the Pokemon she’s seeing for the first time.

      “She’s suuuuuper cuuuute!!!” she quivers from the desire of reaching out to pet the little thing, but first waves back at her. "Can Ibuki give Emolga-chan a little petting? Can she???"

— [ ϟ ] — That is true. The people in Hive City are often indistinguishable from the people back home. To be quite honest, Ibuki looks like she could pass for a trainer. Then again, it could just be the Roxie vibes coming off this girl. Elesa wonders if Ibuki also has a poisoned tongue.

The subject, of course, is abandoned momentarily for the sake of Emolga's pride. The Pokemon practically preens at the compliments; while she is usually praised, she honestly never has enough in that regard. Not even waiting for her trainer's permission, the Pokemon glides to greet her new friend.

❝It would seem that no matter what I say, Emolga is interested in your offer. Go ahead, but be careful, at first. She might give you a little shock in excitement.❞

         Holding onto the hope that this lady wouldn’t need much before moving on, his muscles would tense under the sound of her voice. Cyrillian was intimidated, though it might have just been her appearance. His limbs would move accordingly, automatically, to grip his bow tightly and confirm that an arrow was at easy access. He wouldn’t take aim, as he wasn’t sure of a true threat or not, though he certainly didn’t wish to be taken advantage of should he let his guard falter.

         Directions? Was that what she was asking for? It almost made him want to laugh, to be asked something so normally. Maybe he was over dramatic, he hadn’t settled in fully yet. "Zeta district?" He thinks he’s heard that mentioned somewhere. He knew Beta was the one he’d been assigned, though he hadn’t gained much knowledge of surrounding places yet. Maybe he could learn?

         With optics darting from hers to the surroundings before back again, in a repeated cycle, he’d take another moment to compose himself before speaking, "I apologize, I don’t think I can be of very much help in this situation. I’m fairly new, I guess you could say." He’d try to keep his voice from shaking too much, succeeding for the most part. His nerves were on cliffs edge, if it hadn’t shown from his reflexes of how swiftly he’d resort to the bow of which he wasn’t even completely sure he could shoot.

— [ ϟ ] — She takes notice of the tenseness in his motions, adjusting her own movements accordingly. Still having a cautionary hand resting upon Emolga's Pokeball just in case, the Gym Leader keeps her optics focused solely on the archer. On the other hand, her shoulders relax and a very slight smile marks her features.

❝Oh, dear. What a shame. Are you adjusting to life here?❞ It is a bit of a bummer that she isn't talking to a veteran of this city, though to be fair, she isn't sure of just what to expect from a young man carrying a wooden weapons.

His exclamation throws a wrench into her plans, but Elesa is absolutely unconcerned. More curious than anything about the underground location, it isn't as if she's only just arrived. It seems, though, that he may not quite understand the nature of her words. Perhaps a little more prodding is in order.

❝Would you care to know more about Zeta? Or anywhere else in the city, for that matter.❞ She asks evenly, if bluntly. She doesn't want to mince words, but at the same time, Elesa doesn't want to shirk politeness. The poor dear seems just a tad too nervous for comfort. She certainly doesn't want to sound like someone pressuring another into behaving dangerously. ❝I was asking because it can be dangerous to explore the city by oneself, and you see capable enough as a travelling companion.❞

Well, you didn’t see that every day. Or rather, you didn’t see snazzy looking gym leaders walking around the streets of Hive city. While he had met Sabrina, he didn’t expect to meet other gym leaders, especially if they were from Unova.

How did he know where she was from? He had seen her a few times on TV, whether it was modelling or battling. Her skills were rather impressive, and he often wondered how they would fair in a battle.

He noticed her heading his way and gave her a smile. “It seems I found another.”

— [ ϟ ] — ❝It seems you have.❞ Elesa smiles at her fellow trainer, footsteps ceasing without a moment's notice.

It is always pleasant to speak with another trainer. There's certainly moments where she would not be altogether accepting of other trainers, but even with that in mind, there is always the nice feeling that you are not alone in this city.

❝You're one of the Elite Four from the Kanto and Johto regions, correct?❞ When she speaks, it is with a degree of caution. Elesa doesn't wish to cause a mixup. She's sure she's seen the violet haired individual on the television or in magazines more often than not, but it isn't as if she's met him before.

     If Valentine’s Day was any indication, he is greatly pleased this day has come to a long close. Never has he possessed such confusion over a single day before, in his lifetime— the war he participated  heavily in seemed a breeze compared to one’s feelings, of that he’s certain. Ocean blue eyes scan visibly dressed windows— lacking the gaudy pink hearts he’d come accustomed to months beforehand. 

     Awkwardly admiring the many dresses presented before his eyes, glasses mirroring his own reflection as he wonders if she might enjoy the laces— desperation ran thick, hesitating to wonder if this was worth his time; if any of his actions would be worth anything. He’s almost startled by the sudden voice, immersed with the many fabrics, wondering how to avoid such an embarrassing conversation.

     ”Fond of?" His words allude to such a question, knowing he’d been caught — red-handed.

     She was not wrong, which pained him further more— were his actions too obvious? Taken back by the sudden statement, no chance of his features changing within seconds, already has been laced with the absolute truth, “Fondness can be seen as a very strong emotion to hold, and I take the current features I am expressing is obvious enough.." Perhaps when it came to Asseylum his feelings had always been obvious, but it seemed there was still another oblivious to how he truly felt.

     Sheepishly, he wonders if it may be right to ask; with a small duck of his head, words leave curiously enough, “If it were you to receive such an alluring gift as this, would it please you?" And there was the thought of if it may be to the recipients taste.

— [ ϟ ] — Obvious? It is, isn't it? The way he looks at those dresses with such a wistful eye. Elesa has been alive long enough to know what lovesickness looks like. She's been around the block, as the saying goes. Despite her young age, Elesa is incredible at reading the emotions of others.

❝No shame to be had in having a loved one in this city. She your first sweetheart?❞ Elesa wonders if she's overstepping her boundaries, but honestly, this boy seems so hopeless, it can't hurt to he a little nosy.

She sidles closer to the male, though not particularly close. For obvious reasons, Elesa doesn't wish to express a strong amount of closeness towards him. She still needs to observe the fabrics gracing his fingers, but it is assured that her posture is strictly businesslike.

❝Don't be nervous. I work with clothes for a living. A second opinion can be a good idea. Anyway… the thing with clothing is that it isn't just about what's fashionable and lovely. Its about what's personable, too. What her style is… her favorite colors… what looks pleasing on her… You might think that she would look a bit strange in my coat, correct?

The point is: would your girl enjoy this particular style and color, or wouldn't she? It's certainly a fine dress, I would wear it if it suited me, better.❞

            A voice that she was familiar with drifted into her senses, coloring her face with surprise. How could this person even be here? She could have sworn she had seen only a few days ago.

            Excusing herself from the male she had starting talking to, she wandered over to the voice. It was long before she found the familiar face among the sea of strangers. Elesa, the Nimbasa stood before her, with Snivy at her feet. A bright smile came upon her face as she easily manuveared herself between the crowd to get to the Gym Leader.

            Her smile only seemed to brighten once she was within speaking range with the other female. The questiones still ran through her mind, but she was too elated to find someone she knew in the city.

            “Elesa! I can’t beleve you are actually here!" The young trainer remarked before she bent over to pick up her Snivy. "Snivy, did you go out of your way to find someone I knew? How sweet of you!”

            Though she could have gone on with prasing her Pokemon, she was aware of Elesa’s presence and quickly switched her attention to her once more. “I thought I was the only one from Unova to arrive here … how long have you been here?”

— [ ϟ ] — She is relieved that Mei notices her with little consequence. The crowd pressing in upon the two impedes on Elesa's ability to reach the girl. The city, how full of life it may be, can prove difficult for meetings. She doesn't want to lose track of Snivy, either.

It definitely is a relief to see another trainer here, and a friend at that. Elesa is a go with the flow type of girl, certainly, but she still misses home more often than not.

A smile, more relieved than anything else, graces her features. It has been quite a few months since she's last witnessed the bond between another trainer and their Pokemon. Few things bring joy to her like that special bond. Inexplicable and warm, she wouldn't have cared too much if Mei did ignore her.

❝There's a surprising amount of trainers here, though I haven't met anyone from Unova, yet. …Before you, of course!❞ She inclines her head pleasantly. Other trainers are find, but it's lovely talking to someone she's had a previous friendship with. ❝Oh, Arceus, how long have I been here? Five months? Four?

How long have you been here?❞
