with the fact she was talking to another stranger. But she wasn’t here to scold her for being so careless, was she?

She replied simply before shivering a bit.

"All right then, I may have a good idea to sort of go about finding it. If you have your sound up on it, do you mind if I call it? It may help if we hear a ringtone or something that might help."
❝ That could work... the ring on it is about on half volume, so we should be able to hear it at the very least. ... Anyway, my number is 566-786153. ❝
" ….Huh, well I don’t have any holy water on me so you’ll be fine. You don’t seem all that menacing anyway.”
❝ Well, it's not like holy water really works anyway.... I don't know who thought that would work against demons.... Or... does it maybe work on the demons in this world? If it does then these are some weak ass demons living here... ❝
She grumbled and crossed her arms while mumbling a few things under her breath to herself.
❝ And I can be menacing, you know. I've ripped someone apart more than once, easily. ❝
Granted, that 'someone' was a ghost.
For the next five questions my muse can not tell a lie.

"Heh, well perhaps we should retrace your steps, where did you use it last?" Matt thought despite the idea it was a stupid obligatory thought, retracing someone’s steps always helped in finding lost items. A cellphone was no exception

She looked at him curiously for a second before retaining her normal bored and slightly annoyed look.
❝ So... you're human, right? ❞
She didn't get to see many of those.

At the mention of her friend, her eyes widened slightly. “Oh, I don’t quite know. I was just sort of wandering really.”
She noticed the girl's reaction to hearing Chlomaki's name.
❞ You know Chlomaki then? ...You're both witches right? I must say, you don't seem to be nearly as annoying as her. ❞
Although Kurotsuno considered Chlomaki to be an... acquaintance, the pitch black witch was annoying, messing with her every time she could.
❝ .... Y'know, not knowing where you're going isn't really gonna get you un-lost, kid. ❞
“Point me to the nearest bar and can probably get it from there.”
❝ The nearest bar? Maekami's place should be just around that corner. ❞
".....has died." finish it in my ask.
"Kurotsuno huh? Interesting name." Matt nodded, "Well anyways, we should get going.. It’s always good to have your phone so we should start while we still can!"
❝ Yeah, have any idea where we should start looking? ❞
She was starting to sound impatient, her voice a bit faster than usual. She had gotten her cellphone lost only once before in some weird castle, but had found it easily after looking hard with the help of Hanten and Met.
Hopefully this time it would be just as easy. She couldn't bear to live without her cellphone!

She refused to make eye contact, feeling more than a little embarrassed at having to ask for directions.
"Sure, I’m okay with that." Matt shrugged, "We should probably get names out of the way… Mine’s Matt… I’m obviously a human. Nice to meet you miss..!"

She didn't seem to be so good at introductions, pausing between every sentence with a slight hesitance in her voice.
