“ Thank you. “ She replied with not much of a chipper tone. Though her son looked quite the opposite of the anger side. The little baby cooed happily and kicked his tiny little feet as he was happy to be in his mommy’s arms.

Cam looked up at the angry mother and raised his hands above his head, “ Oh hey.. This is your little guy? “

“ Yes he is. “ She squinted her eyes before taking her son out of the baby carrier.

          Slowly, she returned her hand to her side. The signals were all too clear that even Jadien would put up on their scent sooner or later. “Right, well, you must be busy. I must’ve taken some time trying to find this lil’ sweetheart. I must be going.“

Once again she didn’t let out a word. Only a simple nod to the head before her gaze fell back down onto the happy baby boy in her arms.

          She mimicked the other’s expression. Her nonchalant attitude was unfamiliar grounds. “My name’s Jadien.” She stuck her hand out.

Kasey definitely didn’t enjoy small talk, or being around people for that matter. But that’s what she gets for going outside with her son. “ Kasey. “

          Jadien nodded. “Nice,” she commented, “So, am I; Education major.”

“ Good for you I guess? “ Kasey furrowed her eyebrows, not even bothering to care.

          Jadien was quiet momentarily. She acknowledged she could not judge someone she did not know, or their situation. She offered a smile. “Are you a student here ? “ There was no harm in making conversation.

“ Yes. “ She replied simply while rocking her son in her arms.

          She ducked her head down, attempting to understand. The woman could not have been that much older than herself. “Right, um, once again, apologizes.”

She simply nodded as she cradled her son in her arms as he cooed happily while his fingers touched his mommy’s face. Brown hues turning to the blonde while he gurgled.

          “Oh, um, I apologize,” she withdrew. “This is your child –– ? ”

“ Yes, he’s my baby. “

Hope smiled “ Aww, what’s his name? “ she asked looking at the other girl. Babies at the moment had a soft spot on her probably because she was only few weeks pregnant herself but no one knew and it wasn’t noticeable

“ His name is Nicholas. “ She spoke. Normally that name would strike pain into her due to it being her baby brother’s name. But naming her son after him had to be the best choice for her.

Kasey wasn’t one for small talk, but whenever someone mentions her son in a positive way there would always be a small spark that ignites inside of her. Her blue hues glanced down at the sleeping baby before replying, “ Thanks. He’s almost a year old. “
