Chapter One - Back Home

Having a couple of drinks and a good time at the Kyoshi Island Women's Club. Some people headcanon Kya with a pleasant singing voice, but I'm not sure she doesn't take after her Uncle Sokka.

Regardless, if anyone even mentions "Secret Tunnel", she'll sing the whole thing, including the extra forgotten verses.

I don’t know why I think this but Kya is totally the “hot girl with stomach issues” type but also devours everything in front of her and Lin follows her around with the in-universe equivalent of Tums like “please Kya you know you can’t eat this much gluten.”

I thought of this because Katara had called her daughter Kya, after her dead mother and as we know Karar misses her. I think that her daughter Kya looked a lot like her mother so Katara would hang out with Kya a lot for waterbending practice and some hangout time.

Kya: I'm not who you pretend I am.

This means that like "Mom I'm not like your mother or any point of view like that."

"Do mi ti, Why not me? Why not me?"

So this is another theory. One she always wanted to be an airbender, as we tell in lok. She also has the spirit of one. But she was a waterbender. And of course Aang has to spend more time with Tenzin. Kya must have a lot of issues and couldn't really comprehend how her dad "favored" one child. So "why not me? Why not me"

Korra: You drank each other's slushies?
