“We should probably get back to work,” she mentioned, though she didn’t let him go.

She let out a little giggle. “No, of course not. We’re totally perfect.”

He smiled, chuckling a bit at her, “Of course not. Not a date at all.”

“That would be ridiculous. And against the rules,” she said with a grin.

His hand was still cupping her cheek lightly as he smiled, “Then I’d pick you up at 7:30.” he said. Happy and in awe at all that had happened in the last couple of hours.

A smile appeared on her face as well. “But it wouldn’t be a date, right?” she asked, teasing a bit. Even though it was fairly obvious that that’s exactly what it was.

He couldn’t help but smile back at her reply, “And I’d say we could grab dinner tomorrow night, around 8?” he asked, practically asking her out anyway.

She let her forehead rest against his once again. “And I’d say that sounds perfect,” she replied, her voice still quiet. Wondering how exactly they had ended up here.

His smile was small, but it was present, “I’d ask if you wanted to go out tomorrow, since we’re both off.” he admitted.

His answer surprised her a little, but she couldn’t help but smile back at him. “And I’d say yes if you did,” she replied quietly.

He smiled a bit bigger, “If these rules weren’t in effect, I’d….” he began then sighed, thinking it didn’t matter what he said.

She pulled away just a bit to look at him, though her hands remained on his shoulders. “You’d what?” she asked, curiously.

He smiled as he rested his forehead against hers, “Better than before?”

She smiled back at him, nodding a bit. “Much better.”

He smiled into the kiss a bit as he leaned into it more. He kept is soft and sweet.

She brought her other hand up as well, smiling a bit as well. Pulling away after a second and resting her forehead against his.

He smiled a little, placing a hand to her cheek before pressing another kiss to her lips. 

She leaned into his touch, returning the kiss easily. One hand coming up to rest on his shoulder.

He moved closer, now merely inches from her lips, “So you want to do this?”

She met his eyes, nodding a bit at his question. Barely even breathing in anticipation.

He smiled a little, they were alone, no one would ever know. “No one would know.” he said, moving in a little closer.

She stayed exactly where she was, just watching as he moved closer. “No they wouldn’t,” she agreed.

He made his way from around the bar so he was next to her now, speaking as he walked, “Are you suggesting we break the rules?”

She spun around as he walked towards her, shrugging a bit. “It is entirely possible,” she replied with a grin.

“Because I really wouldn’t mind doing it again.” he said, more confident now.

She was still smirking a bit, though a wave of nerves hit her again. “Yeah? Well it’s not like anyone would know,” she mentioned.

He slight smile widened, “Is that right?” he asked, teasingly again. “It is unfortunate though.” he agreed.

“Yes, really,” she confirmed with a nod. A smirk appearing as he kept talking. “And why do you think it’s unfortunate?”
