Meeting day!

I apologize for the lack of information, everyone. The mod is tired and has had important work dates come up. On that note, going to meet up in the Marriot back by the Star Wars (A706), same as last year today at 7pm. I have 2 giveaway things for y'all. And now my second announcement. The mod is retiring. I am so exhausted. I might help out some next year, but if anyone wants to exchange information at the event, I can get you set up for everything.

Forward to 2019

We had a really great DragonCon meet up this year. Unfortunately, things were cut a bit short when the hall filled up. The mod was also stressed out of her mind trying to get stuff ready. Most of the process of getting the meet up ready isn't too stressful... if there's planning ahead of time.

So what I'm asking for is someone to help me out for next year. We need to find a location early, possibly a room or something. If anyone is willing to help out please message me here or @robinasnyder

We get a few things sorted out early and everything will be super easy come Con Season 2019.

MEET UP DAY AND LOCATION CHANGE!!

Hello All!

Happy Friday!

After reviewing possible locations yesterday, we need to move the location of the meet-up. It's still today at 7pm.

The new location is the Marriott Marquis, Atrium level. Behind the skybridge is a hallway, the hallway where the Star Wars, YA and Puppetry tracks are kept. (Map from the DragonCon App below).  

The upside is that this area is generally much quieter than many other places in the Con. And also physically cooler. The downside is that we're going to have to sit on the floor. If you have a disability and cannot sit on the floor, please tell us as soon as possible. Fastest way to get someone is to message @robinasnyder

Tiny Kylo and ALL the Tiny Friends will be at DragonCon! They will be in the Vending Halls all weekend! Come say hi to them at Booth 2633! (Second Floor, back corner by the windows) Blogger Katherine will be on the righthand side of the booth if you’re facing it (behind the smaller tables) (also I have pink hair, I should be easy to find >w<)

Please come visit Kylo! He and the rest of the tinies would love to meet/say hi again to friends!

Also! He will have little gift bags for everyone that comes by to say hi! Bag types are: -Kylux -Kylo Ren -Hux -Phasma -Rey -Finn -Poe -BB-8

You can choose whichever one you want! He’d love to take a picture with you too if you’re ok with having your picture on the blog! And he’s going to have a little thing for everyone to sign that he can hang on his wall after the con :)

Meet Up Details

Hello all,

Because our normal meet up spot is now a party hotel, this year we're moving to the Westin. As always, the meet up is 7pm on Friday. We'll be meeting on the floor above the Lobby, which has an alcove to the left (if you're facing the elevators and standing over the front desk).

Because it's Dragon Con and stuff happens, the location may change, but the date/time will not, and all updates will be posted on the blog.
