Why do you prefer planet wave cables?
I don’t prefer them, personally, but they’re pretty darn great cables. I’m a George L user, myself, and when they’re cut properly they don’t give you the problems many complain about. I’ve had the same two 25’ cables since 2006 and have had ZERO problems with them – much longer-lasting than any other cables I’ve had! I also have them installed on my pedalboard to great effect. I used to dislike PW cables back when they had that goofy tip that wouldn’t ever go in all the way, but they’ve become a top-quality brand in the last many years. Really great stuff.

There is an unbelievable amount of misinformation on the web about this pedal. With the DD-2 and DD-3, the feedback path is analog, so people like to put a treble shunt cap across the feedback pot to simulate an analog delay, with increasingly dark repeats. Contrary to what gets posted everywhere,...
Finally, I found answers.
Review of the Kingsley Jester.
I have no connection to Kingsley Amps other than owning this pedal that I paid full price for.
I have never been a fan of tube pedals but this thing has been a great purchase. The cost has been justified as it has replaced the following pedals- OCD V1, Mi Audio CrunchBox, Mi Audio Boost n Buff(clean and treble boost), T-Rex Alberta(TS808), BYOC 5 knob Compressor. It doesn’t nail all of these sounds exactly but I get the sounds I wanted from these effects and more.
The Jester has 3 boost types; full, mid, and treble. These can push an amp over the edge or fatten/tighten. There are also 3 OD settings, each with more gain than the last and more focus to keep it tight.
My favorite part is the EQ, because the Jester is basically the front end of an amp the EQ is “amp like” which gives me the ability to tweek it at my feet when I change pickups on my strat, or use it together with the boosts for a big mid hump or treble boost.
If your amp doesn’t have dirty versatility or you use venue amps, this beast could be all the tube breakup you need right at your feet.
