g-d doesn’t make mistakes, and trans people aren’t a mistake. g-d constantly asks us to participate in creation: g-d gives us the world and the tools to change it, to make something new of it. when we make wine from fruit it is not because we think the fruit is wrong but because the wine is right. if we took the world at face value, if we let ourselves be constrained by the idea that there is only one way to be and that way is right, we would miss out on so much the world has to offer.
