I think it’s only too fast if you think it’s too fast. If you love each other and want to be together then screw what society might deem ‘too fast’ and do what you think is best for yourself. If you’re honest with each other then even if you don’t know everything about each other right now then you’ll be fine and you’ll get there eventually. You both have 20+ years of memories and thoughts to share with each other, as long as you’re not avidly keeping information from each other then you’ll share all that stuff in time. I know! Part of me just wants to quit but I need the money for school. I’m sure my focus will switch to school once I start and then all you’ll hear me talk about then is assignments and stuff while I pull my hair out with the stress of it. I guess not with your boyfriend living with you now. I can imagine how nice that must be.
