Please read in FULL - I know a lot of people are doing rough right now but hopefully we can help each other out. US ONLY due to funding issues.

Not even kidding, I made only $2 panhandling two days in a row. My rent is now late as of today. I had enough when I moved into this apartment but after being a seasonal employee, I was of course let go right after Christmas. This job didn't pay me enough for my rent and I have signed up for unemployment - but that takes more than two weeks to get a first payment.

I also was injured during my time at that job and it was very physical so I ended up missing a week unfortunately and that job doesn't have health insurance so I had to rely on over the counter meds to get better. That always takes longer.

I'm currently waiting to hear back from WinCo which is a grocery store here about a job. I'm applying to other jobs and have been. I still won't make my rent on time and now in jeopardy of getting an eviction notice.

Obviously if you don't have $100 laying around, you can send whatever you can and you are not obligated to help. However, I have definitely helped people in the past so I would hope this kind of thing can continue. Ie, helping each other from dangerous situations and saving people from ridiculous housing laws that cause homelessness.

if I manage to not become homeless again, (last time was like 2017 so I did pretty well for awhile) and can get a decent livable wage, I will of course try my best to find ways to get money to people who need to be able to pay rent to stay off the street.
