This new movie is coming out and sjw’s are quick to demonize it for inaccurate representation of mentally ill people. As someone with the literal mental illness in the movie, lemme tell you all to kindly fuck off.
Split is a movie about a man with DID, who abducts three girls, some of his 23/24 ‘personalities’ try to help them, others are the ones they are running from. I get that it could possibly lead to people fearing those with this disorder, but don’t you think that people aren’t all that stupid as to see one movie and immediately assume all mentally ill people are like that? Holy shit.
Not to mention that this movie is entirely a work of fiction, and also doesn’t seem to entirely demonize the man with the identity disorder??? Isn’t the point of the movie that there are some bad, and some good parts of him? Parts that are in fact trying to help the girls escape before they are hurt, or worse, killed?
Lets face it, mentally ill people can very well pull off horrendous crimes, and, not to mention, how many times are large crimes such as the (fictional) one portrayed in the movie done by a completely sane, mentally stable person? I honestly cant think of one that hasn’t been planned and executed by a person that hasn’t been diagnosed, or thought to have anything from depression, to trauma, to schizophrenia.
Now whether the movie ends up being terrible, or mixing up facts is a different subject. Just lay off the kool-aid and take a chill pill. It’s just a movie.

It wasn’t often Lye got drunk anymore, let alone absolutely sloshed. “Mmm wow, you’re so, so pretty….” He hums, giving a small giggle as he looks over Anarchy once again, “so so so pretty, oh my, you’re so sweet too. I am so very lucky to know you~”
Anarchy sighed when he walked into the room and saw Lye shit-faced drunk. “Lye, I thought we talked about this…” He sighed and rubbed his neck. As soon as the words were uttered, he smiled and blushed, ducking his eyes away. “Th-thanks, Lye. You’re pretty too, um, yeah so, uh, thanks…” He said nervously. He wasn’t used to all the attention and praise. “I’m lucky to know you too…”
Lye makes grabby hands for the other, “Hugs?” He asks, “Mmm alcohol goggles are a great view, i forgot- Wait, no, its beer goggles, I didn’t drink beer though. I’m not even wearing goggles, what the fuck.” He quickly sets off down a rabbit trail in his mind.
Anarchyvsighs softly and shakes his head. He goes to sit down next to Lye on the couch and wrapped his arms around the boy. His hands come up to pet the other’s hair gently. “I don’t understand, dear. Do you need some water?”
Lye curls into Anarchy, purring happily at the touches. “Mm... No, m’good.” His head moves to rest on the others shoulder. “How are you? You don’t seem too happy. Did I make you mad?” His face becomes a little worried.
