Hey Poe, can you tell me a little about what the Master Architect role does? What are your work responsibilities and does it keep you busy?

Poe: I oversee the planning and designs for any important construction within the Guild. I was the one who designed all of the Moby Dick's modifications. The Guild has quite a lot of vehicles, weapons, and other sorts of large equipment and buildings. It’s my responsibility to keep tabs on everything I’ve designed, and to remodel and improve anything Fitzgerald believes needs improvement. It keeps me relatively busy through my work day. But not to the point it seeps into my writing or personal time.

I've said it once and I'll say it again; BEAST is not about Oda and Dazai did not create BEAST

B!Dazai's CANONICAL reason to knowing about The Book and the Other Universes is that he created a Singularity. He did not create BEAST, that is a popular fan theory that gained traction because the show reached the wrong audience.

Similarly, Oda is not the focus of this universe. Oda is a character who's path is changed, because that's what BEAST is. It's changing the paths of many characters in it. Oda living because Dazai is dead is tragic, but that is by no means what BEAST is showing us AT ALL.

BEAST was made for us to see how characters would be if they had their paths changed.

It showed us that Mori in BOTH TIMELINES feels regret for his actions and that he CAN be a good person if his path was different

It shines more light on the fact that Atsushi CAN be a murderer, that he CAN fuck up, that he CAN be just as bad as a Mafia member if his path was different

It shows us what Kyouka WOULD have become if she let Kouyou take her back. It shows us how she'd have turned out IF she'd headed Kouyou's and Akutagawa's words if her path was different

It shows us that Akutagawa CAN be a good person, that he CAN get better, that he COULD live in a better place if his path was different

It shows us that Dazai CAN be just a fucked up and evil as Mori predicted in Main, it showed us that he CAN be a horrible person, it showed us what he COULD have been like if he listened to what Mori told him he'd do if his path was different
