Idol hands
Me- I think I need something to do with my hands to keep myself busy from time to time
Hunja Bun- ok.
Me- I think I'll pick up knitting and stuff again.
Hunja Bun- ok.
Several hours later...
Me- ::furiously crocheting::
Hunja Bun- Babe, you may want to take a breather from that.... Babe??
Me- there is no Babe! Only Crochet!
Hunja Bun- ::facepalm::
Washing dishes...
Me - * headphones on, music blaring, washes dishes contentedly shimmying and scrubbing to the beat. *
Hunja bun - hey... Babe... HEY... BABE!!!!
Me - * continues washing dishes, inventing dance steps, imagining my rise to stardom*
Hunja Bun - *steps next to me and waves*
Me - *dish scrubbie is now a microphone,eyes closed* "SHOT THROUGH THE HEART!! AND YOURE TO BLAME!!!
Hunja bun - *taps shoulder lightly*
Me - *screams, knocks and breaks multiple dishes, and brandishes scrubbie as a defensive weapon*
Hunja Bun - Bwahahaha F$%>ing Chihuahua! I love you! *kisses sudsy nose*
Me - AM NOT!
--also me - my own hair brushes against my neck/shoulder *freaks out, yells, slaps area, wimpers* ::distant laughter of Hunja Bun::
For what reason would you wish to deny Someone the ability to touch or admire in any way, a statue made in honor of their God(s)/Goddess(s) or prevent them from worshipping and feeling reverence for them? True religious tolerance is to recognize that while one may not hold the same religious beliefs as another, one does not begrudge another for that difference.
Why would the mere thought of someone worshipping a different Deity(s) than you, give rise to so much hatred and spite? Why resort to violence?
This type of hatred and intolerance has led us down the path of destruction so many times, books have been written in hopes of us learning from it with intentions to educate, to encourage, and to empower us to do and be better. In Hope that we can prevent ourselves from making the same mistakes over and over again.
When religious designation has no pertinence in the workforce, why is there still such prevalence of discrimination based on such designations? How does worshipping a specific Deity(s) alter how your vehicle is washed? How does it change how your fast food is prepared? How could any of that have any effect on daily life? Their beliefs are their own. Yours may coincide or they may differ. They dont impede your own beliefs. As long as they aren't being forced upon you or Vise versa (as has been done many, many times) it shouldn't matter.
I had hoped that I may live long enough to see this type of hatred die away...
Take a moment... Ask yourself how could someone else's belief in their Deity(s) make your own any less relevant and sacred? If your faith is true, its not possible. If it's impossible, then why belittle theirs?
