Open Letter to Fellow Buck-Tick Fans
I feel terrible that I am so inactive here. It's been almost a year since my last post. I feel so terrible about what has become of our fan community, that we are grieving in silos. I think my energy would be better spend on doing something positive.
Thus, here is an open letter to the people who run Buck-Tick fan sites past and present, who translated, and who scanned for the community. Many links are down these days. Please reach out to me if you like. I will take this message down in a few days.
Dear Fellow Buck-Tick Fan,
In this time of shared grief, I am reaching out to those who have fan sites, translate, and scan for the greater B-T community. I am sending this message to the sites/people I know of and the contact methods I am aware of. If I missed sending this to a currently active or past leader, I apologize for the oversight. If this message is not in English, I apologize for the machine translation. I could write in Japanese if you prefer.
My name is Mariko and I am the person behind the Buck-Tick Zone website and Twitter account. We may have been in contact before. If not, nice to meet you and I apologize that it took a tragedy for me to write to you.
It is my hope that we can come together and do something for the community. I am open to your ideas. If you are interested, we can discuss via email, social media messages, or even a Zoom call. I hope to hear from you soon and I understand if you are not interested in participating.
I will wait a few days for a response. Thank you for your time and consideration.
