War - Horses of the Apocalypse
Hi there! Concept art is something very important in my professional and personal career. When it comes to creating an illustration, it’s easier for me to think and sketch my main characters before putting them in any situation. It’s even more important when I want to paint creatures, especially when they do not belong to our world. In my case, I can’t be efficient nor imaginative without doing concept work or at least conceptual theming before working on the sketch. It helps define shapes and how I can make a good composition for them. Of course it takes time but ultimately the illustration will benefit from all the thinking I’ve put in it.
