Lost & digital found: Gabriele Hasler “Flow”
In the summer of 2002, Gabriele Hasler gave 12 solo concerts in the West Crypt of St. Peter’s Cathedral in Bremen. Each concert dealt thematically with its own vocal technique—for example, split tones, inhalational singing, sub-tones, or singing with “false vocal chords.” From the recordings of these concerts Gabriele Hasler produced the eight pieces for the CD Flow, emotionally-affecting soundscapes of contemporary vocal art.
