What a reality check I’m finding myself dealing with and it is bullshit. I’m not even sure if it’s the industry or if it’s us customers. Maybe you can tell me? 🤷‍♀️ What I’m talking about is clothing meant for sizes 2X and up. I’ve struggled with weight most of my life. I’ve been the 5’10”140lb waif that can buy anything and it fits and I’ve been 5’9” (yup, we shrink) 246 lbs hiding in my collection of the same 25 black maxi dresses hanging in my closet. Since LAL & DEBZ’s inception, I’ve been determined to make sure plus size, beautiful full figured women had a home to come to in finding cute and stylish fashion. Maybe I’m too picky? I’m not finding a lot of it. I’m finding pieces that will wash a few times and then you’re left having to buy something new because the quality is suffering. Are plus size women not shopping? Is this you? Are you not shopping? I know my go to at my largest 2x was that $17 standard black maxi dress that I would doll up with whatever. I wasn’t shopping. Ladies, are you wanting to find fashion but only having the few shops to go to is leaving you beaten down a bit (LB & T-you know the top 2)? These are a spring/summer closet staple this season. They are sooo comfortable. There is quite a bit of cushioning in the sole and I love the simple zip up feature on the back of the shoe. They pair so wear with a pair of jeans and a casual top or a mid length skirt/tank/crop jacket. The faux leather detail is holds up well. The shoes have a nice faux wood finish to the wedge. My feet run medium to slightly wide and I didn’t need to break these in. They were ready for me to wear right out of the box. I have higher arches and I found these sandals to be supportive without having to add inserts. I would say these shoes in true to size.
