4/29/2026: Feeling a bit down as the semester ends. I think, moving away, being alone again -- it's terrifying to me. It always works out in the end, which is what I'm trying to keep in mind. Somedays I feel like I've never aged past 13, and every instance of guilt and loneliness creeps up on me.

there was a time when i could waste my time living vicariously through someone else’s eyes. their life, their style, i could dive in for hours on end until midnight. my phone screen lit up against the whiteness of my room’s walls, i would watch and study how aesthetic their life seemed to be.

unfortunately i do not have the time to waste time anymore. i have to live through my own eyes, my own aesthetic, my own world.

i’m not sure i like it. ★
