Worldwide Pro Rape Meet-ups in 165 countries
#worldwide #meninist meet-ups, see which countries and where #travel #safety
While this is not something I usually right or publicly share my opinion on, this is quite possibly a matter of safety, and feel the need to share the below information. News has been spreading regarding possible meet-ups happening around the globe this Saturday (Feb. 6). These meet-ups are said to be hosted and participated in by a group of men who wish to discuss ways to legalize rape. While…

You know you've been living at home too long when you're not stoned but you still make a midnight run to jack in the box because you have nothing better to do with your life.
Some tips for mountain travel
Fresh snowfall, crisp mountain air, stunning winter views. Nothing gets better than traveling up to the mountains during the winter season. But, nothing is worse than an inconsiderate tourist during the winter season in the mountains. And in places like Big Bear, California, you better believe the locals are gonna let you have it.
As a semi-local (we have a cabin in Big Bear), we have become…

Southwest - No fees!
@SouthwestAir - No fees! #travel #jaztravels
Southwest has always been such a great competitor based on it’s small, but still pretty cool perks. Being able to choose your seat is always a fun game. As is the game not-having-to-pay-for-luggage game. And, while many frequent fliers have rewards and perks that get them out of the paid luggage game, the less frequent fliers are plagued with $25 and $35 first and second bag fees, respectively.

If you’re a sushi-lover like myself, you know that it’s often the hole-in-the-wall places that have the best sushi, and not always the big fancy joints. These are the people that have been making Japanese/Asian food their entire lives and one day said, “Let me open up a little place where I can share my family recipes.”
Let me be the first to say thank youuuuu.
KiKi Sushi is a little shop on the corner of University and 6th Ave. in Hillcrest, San Diego. In a way, though just off the beaten path, KiKi Sushi is in a prime location. Every time you exit or enter the 163 Freeway, you can’t help but see it sitting there on the corner. With it’s quaint little outdoor seating area, patio lights, and inviting 50% sushi sign, you wonder what this place is all about.
I finally went in awhile ago and got their $7.95 Ramen and (1/2) California Roll Special. I added a California Hand Roll, too, because I’m basic and could eat California Rolls until the cows come home. I was a bit surprised, though, at how big the bag was when they brought it out. By the time I prepared this delicious ramen I realized just how much it was. I had two night worth of food and it was just as savory the next day. (That’s how you know something’s good–if you can eat it the next day and it taste just as good if not better.)
I went back for this another time and still good, but not a pretty. Oh well.
Now, their 50% off rolls deal that I mentioned earlier is only for sit-down. And they may it very clear: NO TO-GO BOX, NO TAKEOUT. So finish it, or get ready to pay full price. Either way, you won’t regret it. I am always on the hunt for places that have unique rolls that actually taste good. I don’t want a “unique” roll where I say “well that was…..unique…”
I tried two of their special rolls and they were both quite tasty. Savory, spicy, a little crunchy. All the best things. The rolls I decided on, from left to right: Baked Salmon Roll, Firecracker Roll, Basic Chick Hand Roll.
Here’s a little preview of the inside. For perspective, I was sitting about three chairs in from the end of the bar.
If you’re looking for a date night spot, a place to take visitors, or just a great lunch favorite, I recommend it. It’s nothing fancy, but the may fool you. It’s just as good as any expensive sushi joint I’ve been to.
What’s bad? Really not much. The only downside is that the 50% certain rolls is not available for takeout. However, for the sake of bringing business to the restaurant and not through the restaurant, I get it.
P.S. Is it just me or does the sign look like the old Kinko’s lettering?

There's a lot to being human; it ain't all just burritos and strippers.
Anyone that doesn’t agree with leggings as pants can physically fight me. And I’m going to win because I have a full range of motion due to the fact that I’m wearing leggings as pants.
This looks like the weird blonde Neanderthal that coaches at my boxing gym.
