Anyways, I drew this because Eggman referenced he liked CSM in a Sonic Twitter Takeover and it’s been a WIP for like 6 months. Here’s my Pochita Chao, okay byeeeeeeee ❤️

IM SO SORRY MY AUTOCORRECT RUINED THE ASK. i mean the lineart effect !! the way you rendered the pictures made it look like they could've been real, i was just curious how !

For the lineart I used the “Gesinski Ink” brush in Procreate at default settings. For the rendering, I pretty much followed the shadows and highlights of the original sprites.
To get that glowy effect on the lineart, after I finished the drawing completely, I duplicate and merge all my layers into one, go into the adjustments and choose Gaussian Blur, blur the layer to 3%, and then lower the opacity of the layer to 50%
I started doing this after seeing this TikTok below (hopefully it plays correctly!)
I feel like makes a subtle but big difference!

Ba da bing, ba da boom, few months later I jokingly drew Sonic as Aoba and then decided to just go all the way.
