Sure! As an autistic person myself, I would love to make some comfort imagines about autistic s/i x f/o! I hope you like them. ^-^
When you confess to your f/o(s) that you’re autistic, they don’t mind at all. Actually, they are grateful that you told them! Maybe they ask some questions, but they don’t do it to annoy you. It’s because they want to understand you and treat you in the best possible way.
No matter what level of autism you have, they don’t think that “it’s going to be more difficult” to be with you. They’re going to treat you with all the love and respect you deserve, even if you think you don’t deserve that respect… They’ll probably correct you every time you say you don’t deserve their love.
If you become semi-verbal or non-verbal, they will understand you immediately. Maybe they’ll take you somewhere quiet where you don’t have to force yourself to talk. If you can communicate by text, writing, or communication cards, they will be more than happy to continue communicating with you. If you become completely non-verbal, they will respect that you can’t talk for a moment… however, they will still be there for you, maybe holding your hand or just staying beside you.
If you have a special interest, your f/o(s) LOVE seeing you talk about it. They think you look so cute and interesting when you talk about something you deeply love.
If you have comfort items (fidget toys, plushies, or other objects), a comfort show, a comfort food, or a comfort song, believe me, they don’t mind at all. Your f/o(s) would bring you your comfort items when you need them. They would watch that comfort show or movie with you as many times as you want. They would prepare and eat that comfort food with you, and they would listen to that song a thousand times if it makes you feel safe and happy.
It doesn’t matter if you are “visibly autistic” or if you “hide it very well.” Your f/o(s) LOVE you just the way you are, and they would never want you to change.
