Never be insecure of your sh scars btw. They’re beautiful. They’re nothing to be ashamed of. They’re evidence you went through a dark, dark time and survived. They’re evidence that you’re alive.
“What if my partner doesn’t like them?” The right partner will kiss them and love you anyway.
“What if I don’t like them because of how they look?” Reasonable. Maybe try scar treatments.
“What if they’re noticeable?” It doesn’t matter.
“They make me look ugly.” No such thing.
I was talking to my social worker at school last year and she told me that my SH scars will make business owners and managers less likely to hire me for jobs, and that I'll have less opportunities in life because of them. Why? Why is my mental health any of the corporate worlds concern???? How is that any of their business??????? They should be focused on whether or not I'm a good employee and not the fact I cvt myself, people who struggle with SH shouldn't be denied job opportunities just because they cope worse than people who don't.
My mom thinks I don't read a lot, but little does she know I'm on tumblr every night getting my literature on.
