people become so beautiful when you love them. do y'all know about this
You don't have to force yourself to bounce back so quickly. I read something recently that said "when you come in from a rainstorm, you don't expect yourself to be dry and warm right away", and it really resonated with me. It's okay to take time to dry off and warm up. Take the time you need to process what happened to you.

i hate when people talk to me like i’m an idiot just because i’m quiet sometimes
it feels so weird to look at pictures of famous people/authors after reading their diaries. like i shouldn’t know who these private thoughts belong to even if their name is on the cover. like i wonder if they would even want people to read them?
i deserve some kind of compensation for having read bruce alberts cover to cover. yes i had a gun to my head forcing me to study it SO WHAT i still read it?? another compensation for having put up with my prof's ridiculously high academic standards
one of the most boring lessons I’ve learned is that when a task feels overwhelming, you just have to start doing it. Even if you’re not sure how to do 90% of it, look for one small component that seems close and start there. Sometimes it’s reading one article on the topic, or searching one related term, or literally just googling how to do the task. Do anything other than thinking about it. The process of working on a thing inherently makes it less scary.

Is this ur first attempt have u alr done other course
yup yup first attempt ever. being a scientist was my lifelong dream so i never went for neet, much to my coaching's chagrin. ive a bsc hons biotech and an msc molecular bio. even though what i wanted to work on was immunology, all my projects including my master's thesis werr on gynaecological cancers. im not complaining tho, cancer research gives me more street cred 😝
i was originally set to do phd and then postdoc. it was all already laid out in my mind. i even had phd offers from faculties at my uni but overall it has a very toxic research culture (bar a few labs who did unrelated research) so i decided to work instead. but like, it's not any better... at least now i know not to put decision-making on my resume hehe
