Marie&Caleb

Marie: Nodding softly, she brought his hand to her lips, kissing it sweetly. "I know." she said softly. "And you have beautiful boys. I'm excited too..." she whispered. Because since getting together with him, it certainly had woken up her maternal instinct. Being a substitute mother for his two boys. And now maybe one of their own? Marie loved seeing how he got comfortable, with her fingers running through his hair. "Nobody hates you." she said softly. "And I'm going to make sure that you get everything you want in life, Caleb Lansing..." she whispered, before she kissed him sweetly. "And if this test turns out to be negative, that's okay." she said softly. "It just means that we get to spend time together, on our own, as a couple..." she said softly. "Trying for a baby, a lot..." she said, grinning a bit. "Everything we want."

Caleb: "Thank you, I tried my best to raise them by myself but it was hard. I didn't know how to be a father and mother to the both of them so it was tough." Caleb nodded his head and bit his lip. "I know no one hates me but sometimes it feels like that for some reason and I just can't seem to shake this feeling." Letting a few tears fall he smiled up at her. "And I you Marie Beaumont." Placing his forehead on hers after the kiss he let his eyes close and nodded, he knew that it was okay if the test was negative but he had hoped that it wasn't going to be. "Yes, we will be trying for lots and lots of babies. I want a big family."

Marie: She nodded a little bit at what he said, confirming that he was getting hooked on the idea of her being pregnant. "I know. I can tell." And that, in a way, was a bit of a problem. When he said that he wouldn't be disappointed, that they had the rest of their lives to make beautiful babies, Marie smiled and nodded a bit. "That's true..." she whispered. This wasn't a onetime shot. She was happy, because at least Caleb had taken something that could have been stressful and made it a beautiful thing. Standing in front of the bed, Marie was surprised when he sat down and put his head against her stomach - his ear, as if he was listening. Grinning a bit, she ran her fingers through his hair. "You are so incredible, Caleb..." she whispered. "I don't know what I did to deserve you..." Marie must have been a good girl, somehow, somewhere.

Caleb: "Please don't think of it as a bad thing Marie. I have been through this before so I get kind of excited." He knew that they could try so many more times if she wasn't pregnant because well they were still young and he knew that one day he was going to marry her no matter what the outcome of all of this was. When her fingers moved through his hair he couldn't help but to close his eyes and let out a small moan. "I think it is the other way around, I don't know what I did to deserve you. It seemed like God and the world hated me there for a minute with all of the tragic events that I have been through in my early 20's. But what matters now is waiting for your test results. I'm like getting so anxious, but I shouldn't be I know what it feels like to wait."

Marie&Caleb

Marie: She smiled sweetly when he said that he didn't do anything dangerous, not understanding why he should be careful. He was just so cute. "I'm just saying..." she said softly. "I don't want you to get too hooked on the idea when it might just be all in my head." Marie said softly. "I don't want you to be disappointed if it turns out that I'm not pregnant..." she pointed out. But his idea of having a doctor's appointment, no matter what the test result said was very responsible and she could only nod at it, agreeing to it. She didn't know why, but it was a little bit awkward to be in the bathroom with Caleb leaning against the wall and just anxiously waiting for her to do the test. It hadn't been before, but now she just... seemed to worry about it a bit, it seemed. "Cuddling in bed sounds great..." she said, washing her hands after she did the test. "If we can make out too, it sounds like the best idea I've heard in a long time."

Caleb: "Regardless if it is in your head or not. I'm still going to be hooked on the idea that you might be pregnant." Caleb shook his head. "You will never be a disappointment. We have the rest of our lives to make beautiful children so I won't be disappointed in you baby." Caleb nodded his head. "Remember I said whatever you want you will get." Taking his phone out he set the timer for ten minutes so they knew when the test was ready. Grabbing her hand he led her to the bed. Sitting down he made her stand up so he could put his ear to her stomach and smile. "You know if you aren't you have this to look forward to if you are. My head will most likely always be on your stomach."

Marie: "Well, I do feel different, but baby you need to be careful..." she said, looking at him. "We haven't gone to the doctor yet. We haven't even done the test..." Marie warned him softly. "Don't get ahead of yourself just yet, baby..." Marie said, rubbing his cheek a bit. When he said that he went through a lot, Marie nodded a bit. "You are more mature than most guys here. More sexy too..." she said, holding his hand. Holding him close, Marie grinned a little bit. "Anything I want?" she asked, standing up as she rubbed his head. "I won't forget you said that..." she promised, giving him a smile, before she moved to go do the test.

Caleb: "Why do I need to be careful? I haven't done anything dangerous." Granted he had a side business that Marie didn't know about and he wasn't going to tell her about it either. "I know we haven't even if the test is negative I still say we set up a doctors appointment to just make sure you know?" Shaking his head he laughed "Well I have been through a lot so of course I have to be mature. Or the world would eat me alive." Chuckling he nodding his head and smirked "Yes anything you want, and I know you wont forget it." Walking with her to the bathroom he leaned against the wall. "It's usually takes 10 minutes for the results so you can sit here or we can go and cuddle in bed...either one is fine with me."

Marie: She grinned a bit when Caleb said that it could be a mixture of both of those feelings. "Maybe..." she said. After all, his sex was really, really great. Marie was pleasantly surprised by what Caleb said. How he felt for her. "There's not a lot of guys like you, you know..." she whispered. "I've gotten so lucky to have you now..." she said. She knew that Shane was a jackass, though, and for that she did still torment him up until now. Kissing him sweetly, Marie ran her hand across his cheek as he requested to do the test now. "Okay..." she said, nodding a bit. "But whether I am, or I'm not... we can celebrate after that, right?" she asked.

Caleb: "Come on Marie, you know I am right. It has to be both, why else would you be glowing?" Nodding his head he turned to look at her. "I know, I have been through a lot so I am probably more mature than all of the other guys here at the village. And I have gotten so lucky to have you too." Kissing her back he smiled into the kiss and leaned his head into her hand. "Of course babe, we can do whatever you want."

Marie: Her eyes widened a little bit when he said that he could tell when a girl was pregnant, because of the way their faces just seemed to glow. And when the shock wore off, Marie laughed a bit as she ran her hand across his leg. "That might just be the afterglow of what we did first thing this morning, though..." she said, smiling at him. Resting against him, she was suddenly surprised and overwhelmed by what he said, about how he wanted a big family with her, having a lot of kids and moving into a brownstone. "Really?" she asked softly, looking up at the ceiling. "You thought about those things?" she asked. "You thought about that with me?" Lifting her head, Marie looked at him, as they were embracing each other. "I'm sorry if I sound surprised, it's just... well, you know, I think about the guy that came before you and how he ditched me, and you just seem to... treasure me." Marie swallowed, looking at him. "I hope I all deserve it."

Caleb: "Yeah well it is probably a mixture of both." She was right though, they had sex about three times this morning before he went to work and she took the kids to school. As she rest against him he rubbed her arm softly kissing the top of her head. "Yes really, I think about that stuff a lot. Well I mean after Sabrina died I stopped thinking about it till I moved here and in with you." Shaking his head he put his finger to her lips and smiled. "Its okay that you are surprised I wouldn't have it any other way. That other guy is a complete jackass and he didn't deserve you Marie." Replacing his finger with his lips he kissed her softly and nodded. "You do deserve this...all of this. Now what do you say we go and see if we are pregnant?"

Marie: She grinned lightly when Caleb pointed out that he went through this twice so he knew how pregnant girls were. How they acted. "And here I thought I wasn't your average predictable girl..." She smiled as he rubbed her cheek tenderly, being supportive. "I don't know..." she said softly, when he asked why he would be mad. When Caleb suggested that she would take the test and they'd see what happened, and that it wouldn't change his feelings. "Thanks baby..." she said softly, kissing him sweetly. "It won't change mine either..." she said. "Will you just hold me for a bit first, though?" she asked softly.

Caleb: "You aren't predictable I just have a thing where I know when a girl is pregnant their faces glow. Just like yours is." Nodding his head he pulled her closer and placed small kisses on her head. "Of course I'll hold you, I know this has to be giving you a lot of different feelings and emotions. I mean we haven't really been careful, and the reason why I asked you that question is because I want a big family with you. With lots of little kids running around maybe moving into a brownstone when the apartment gets too small." When Caleb was nervous he rambled and that is what he was doing.

Marie&Caleb

Marie: She didn't know if Caleb was incredibly insightful, or if she was just that transparent, but the moment that he started to do something like poking at the idea of what this could be, and actually being successful at narrowing it down, she was literally shocked to the point that her jaw dropped a bit, trying to find the words as she shook her head at him. "How do you know?" she asked. But then that seemed to be a dumb question. After all, he had been through this before. Twice. "Please don't be upset." Marie said, shaking her head a bit. "I'm not sure. It's just... a feeling..." she said. "I'm late, and I just... have this feeling." And maybe it was just her maternal instinct playing up because she loved their little family life here... but maybe it was more. They weren't very careful, after all.

Caleb: Seeing her looking all confused he just shook his head and chuckled. "Babe you forget that I have been through this twice so I know a thing or two about girls being pregnant." Caleb placed his hand on her cheek and rubbed it softly "Why would I be mad baby? I could never be mad at you for something like this." Leaning in he placed a kiss on her forehead. "How about you take the test and we will see okay babe? Either way it won't stop my feelings for you."

Marie: Caleb was amazing to her. What he did for her, and how sweet he was... she didn't think that she really believed in that anymore. She didn't think she'd get it from someone after she had been, well, wronged by Shane. If anybody had shaken things up, though, and made her believe in guys, it was Caleb. Not just him, because she had met other great guys too. But Caleb was... well, lovely. Charming, kind and he kept her close. They were cocooning, more or less become a family of their own, but Marie didn't mind that. She just hoped that everything was going to be fine enough still, and that Caleb wouldn't be disappointed... "Hey..." she grinned, as Caleb walked in and came to sit down next to her, kissing her head, and asking her what she wanted to show him. "Well, I hope you're going to be happy... or at least not upset..." she said softly, looking at him. "It might be nothing, but it might be... well, like, life changing..." she said, grinning nervously.

Caleb: There were so many things going on in his head and he didn't know what to do. He told himself that he wouldn't fall in love with anyone after Sabrina died, but God had other plans for him. After his wife died he would just meet girls and fuck them and threw them out the next day but not with Marie. He wanted everything and more with her. When he sat down he turned his head to the side. He couldn't believe what she was telling him. "Are you telling me, that we might be p----pregnant?" He was happy and sad. He was happy that he was going to be a father again but sad because he didn't want to lose her like he lost Sabrina.

Marie: What happened between Caleb and her, after being roommates and friends for such a long time, so suddenly and unexpectedly... it was like a whirlwind. Or like... firework. It was great and lovely, and Marie loved every minute of it, even if the fact that Caleb was so serious about it still took her off guard sometimes. But there seemed to be more curveballs that fate was throwing at her - more that blew her off her socks, and Marie was just... waiting and hoping for Caleb to come home. Stressed, to say the least.

Caleb: Things had been looking up for Caleb. He never thought he would be happy after Sabrina died but Marie had shown him differently she was the best thing that had ever happened to him. While they were talking he really wanted to tell her that he wanted kids with her, but they had only been dating for a week or so, but that is how Caleb was. Opening the door he put Liam down next to Jackson and told them to go into their room. Looking around for Marie he saw her on the couch. Smiling he walked over to her and pressed his lips to her forehead. "So, what was this surprise you wanted to show me?"
