Hello everyone. Another post from me so soon is a surprise, I'm sure. As the title may suggest, this is not great news.
The incredible Lapis Love was kind enough to bring to my attention that my work, along with her own and other writers, had been posted on Wattpad without my permission and without crediting me.
Someone using the handle of We2etge6 on Wattpad is passing off my work as their own. I think what upset me the most was seeing the © All Rights Reserved on this person's page for something I've been working on for over ten years now.
I've already filed a DMCA takedown notice, because I don't play around.
All this to say that I need to ask for your help.
I don't have a Wattpad account. If you guys ever happen to see my work there or anywhere else (especially if it's under a different handle), please reach out and let me know or file a report. Or both if you're willing and able.
I'm certain Lapis and other writers would appreciate it if you could do the same for them as well. Also, if anyone else writes for Bonnie Bennet, I would check out We2etge6's page to make sure they haven't stolen your work.

They can't take action without the copyright owner filing a takedown notice, but they start the investigation process which may be helpful to the real author in the long run.
LAST THING! (Sorry for making this post so long) - I just want to thank this community. A lot of you have been with me since the beginning, and this is the first time I'm experiencing something like this.
You guys have been amazing, supportive and respectful. I appreciate anyone who has ever come to me and asked to translate the story into a different language or asked for help with starting their own story. Thank you for asking and not just stealing my work. Thank you for being kind and for respecting me.
TL;DR - If you come across a story you recognize, please get in contact with the author to let them know or report it.
