And now assembly

put the now Clean Drum back in the housing

Add some grease to the o ring to lubricate it a bit and improve watertightness. 

And now screw the two halfs back together

Bearings arrived, installed and more Cleaning

New and old bearings and sealing Ring Side by Side

with the help of a piece of wood and a hammer. I added the bearings back into there Seats.

from the other side the other bearing and shaftseal.

The heater is now also installed back, all nice and free of limescale.

Cleaning more parts especially this really disgusted me look! be happy you cant smell trough tumblr :D

I Decided to make a Blog so i can Document my Adventures with machinery, my washer got really noisy, so i am doing some maintenance on it as a start for this blog.

Cleaning out the Drum Housing in my tub, it was full of muddy resedue maybe why the shaft seal failed. The sealing surface was rusted pretty bad, used a Proxxon mini-tool to grind off the rust and then used Sandpaper and polished it.   removed the limescale with vinegar from the heating element. kind regards Lara :3
