American Christianity has a persistent habit of making the gospel 1% about Christ and 99% about self. Yes, His grace is unfathomable. Yes, we are precious in His sight. But when did that become the whole of it? We need to ask ourselves what we’re really in this for; the glory and honor of God, or merely to make ourselves feel good. Because if the answer is the second, then we’re in it for all the wrong reasons.

If you truly worship God, it shown in the way you treat others, beyond your words. If you are disrespectful to people but say you love God, then how can your love for God be true?
