Nothing but truth.

In ER. Swollen. In pain. But THANKFUL. Cracking bad jokes. Laughing when I can. Smiling through tears. I'm so BLESSED. All I can think about is how I thought it was going to be so much worse when my head hit that airbag. I hit the dash. My car sparked, almost flamed, smoked and would not stop or break. I almost rolled back into speeding cars...I opened the door while the car was still rolling to get out but I would have gotten hit either way...and then the car stopped. Police tried to move it later, said it was unmovable. Funny how God works. Anyway, I wanted to post this because I love yall. I'm thankful for all of you that have prayed, called, texted...worried (don't worry, God's got me). I'm here in ER in a somewhat comfy bed and I got brand new awesome socks (I requested). and outside of my face (and everything else being bruised) being a little swollen, I am smiling and paying attention to the lesson that is being taught. I might be here a little while, so while they figure out all that's wrong with me just look at this message and remember despite it all, God is good. - LS
