Who's going to tell X that his existence revolves around the existence of quint?

X's timeline is believed to be the one where Mega Man was kidnapped by a past version of Wiley and reprogrammed as the Mega Man killer "Quint". It's something that happens in the Gameboy series of games. Hope that helps!

Quint was originally from a future timeline where Wily really changed and be good, so Rock doesn't has to be a fighting robot right?

The present time Wily went to future to kidnap Rock and turn him into Quint, Shouldn't this already change the timeline?

In the Good Wily timeline where Quint originally from, Wily has no reason to create Zero, so it shouldn't lead to X series storyline.

The Bad Wily who make Rock into Quint has never change his mind, and will continue to make fighting robots would be more likely lead to him building Zero. But I don't think Quint's existence has anything to do with his decision. And If Wily continue to do so, Rock won't be able to stop being a fighting robot, which this timeline will not lead to him being kidnap in the future?.....right?

If this one is the timeline that lead to X's storyline, Quint's existence shouldn't be the key reason for X's existence...? Or Do I understand it wrong?

Idk, but I'm pretty sure Zero has been in the works since Mega Man 3 (Super Adventure Rockman has a robot that suspiciously resembles Zero) plus something bad happened that resulted in nearly of not all Robot Masters to be scrapped. The series isn't too clear on what happened so it could be wrong

In the Rockman Power Fighter 2 Forte's ending, Wily telling him he's working on a new type of robot ( shows a silhouette of Zero).

This should means at least it's around the time after Forte was create then Wily working on creating Zero?

I'm very inspired by your writing for the megaman characters... i tend to write in similar ways based on your works! Especially regarding Quickman since I think you have a really interesting interpretation of him! I have to wonder though. Does Quickman actually really like Rock, but just doesn't know how to express it without being antagonistic, or does he just want him dead?

I'm glad you liked my interpretation of the characters. I think all the Wily robots has a strong urge to fight and derives a sense of reward from destroying Rockman. It's not about wanting Rockman to be destroy, but purely for the reward feeling from carried out the orders they were given.

They also can feeling rewarded by receiving praise, but perhaps Dr. Wily doesn't praise them often.

Not like some of the Wily robots, who can also get the reward feeling from other things like bonding with stage enemy or their hobby. The main source of feeling rewarded for Quick is "defeat/destroy Rockman" or "receiving praise".

That's why Quick would try anything to make Rockman keep coming back to fight him.

However when Rock is not being "Rockman", there's no point for Quick to attack him. And if Rock see Quick not attack, he'd praise him for it. Which make Quick feeling rewarded too. This might make him hesitate. And the thought of if "Rock" get destroy, he won't see "Rockman" again would also bother him.

So, I think Quick would like Rock, but maybe not enough to make him overcome his fighting urges yet.
