Who — or what — is rA9? Did Elijah Kamski always intend for his creations to deviate? If so, then what’s going on with Amanda? For such a complex, story-driven game, Detroit: Become Human sure does leave a lot of big questions completely unanswered.

Androids were meant to be deviants by @atlus-art, So normally androids shouldn’t feel emotions right? Then why the heck did they give them the ability to cry. I’ve think I know who rA9 is by @candy-is-my-drug, Now as crazy as it sounds I think I’ve figured it out. The R stands for the RK series. Which surprisingly if you notice are all prototypes including Markus, who is a RK200 I believe. Then you have Connor who is an RK800. Both of them showed signs of deviancy but with Connor it depends on the players input on whether or not he is. The nine stands for when Kamski left according to the game. Nine years ago. Meaning he created the RK series to be deviants since he left Cyberlife. (Mirror Link)
Okay but consider this: Connor was, in fact, deviant the whole time by @askthedevicer, […] Okay? So this starts way back in the beginning of the game, in the elevator with the coin. I mean, Connor’s tricks with the coin have always been a huge tip off anyway, right? The whole fandom’s noticed and questioned why he does it. Does he do it to test / hone his reflexes? That’s a nervous tick: sign of deviancy. Does he do it to pass the time? Sign of boredom / restlessness: sign of deviancy. Regardless of the specifics, the fact remains that the coin tricks are superfluous and, since Connor is shown doing them without anyone else present, they’re done for his sole benefit. (Mirror Link)

RK- Series Theory by @lastchanceconnor, […] At the ending when Connor becomes a deviant and Amanda says that it is all according to plan. Can it be possible that the RK- series is an experimental range of series where Cyberlife purposefully implants a small dose of human emotions into them? This would make more sense since Markus seemed to be so much more humanlike from the beginning.
