My new book is now available for preorder. Releases May 31, 2025.
Now that everything is settled with my current book, I’m diving right back into writing with a YA fantasy story about a young woman who can hear the song of gemstones and learns she can craft them into rings of power to save a dying world.
Got my book, Howls & Hope unloaded to KDP, just waiting for final approval & I’ll post the preorder link. Feels strange to finally be totally done with the writing/editing process for the book. It was a long journey from the first spark of the idea to the final story stage. Worth every step.
Cover reveal for my new zombie survival book coming out May 31, 2025.
My new ebook is available today on Kindle Unlimited.
Happily ever afters really are possible.

Lesser-known myths such as necromancy and neo-pagan Lunarpunk round out this compilation.
In Spell & the Heart, you'll meet heroes and heroines who challenge fate, confront their fears, and discover the true power of love. You'll journey into enchanted forests, brave dangerous quests, and witness the triumph of hope over despair.
Whether you're a fan of fairy tales or mythology, Spell & the Heart will transport you to other worlds and leave you enchanted. So curl up with a warm blanket and let yourself be swept away by the magic of these timeless tales.

I submitted a speculativefiction short story to a publication last night. I’ve had it on my hard drive for a while and went through and did a lot of revisions to get it ready for submission. I feel I have a much better fleshed out and complete story now.

Drafting is going really well for my post apocalyptic contemporary fantasy I’m eight chapters in now and really enjoying the writing process.

Taking a break from my main story and dusting off one of my older stories called Breaking Gray to make revisions for submitting it to a publication looking for speculative fiction.
Now that my current project is done, I’m back to full time writing for my next story, a post apocalyptic on temporary fantasy. It feels really good to be actively drafting again. ✍️ I really do enjoy the process.

I’ve been writing some really emotional scenes this morning. Getting a character’s feelings across has always been a weak spot for me, so I’ve been really trying to delve deep into their emotions. I may be laying it on a little too thick.

I’m in a writing groove this morning drafting the apocalyptic fall of Los Angeles. Everything is really intense and I love how it’s coming along. I thought this would be a hard chapter to write but it’s flowing really well.

It’s been raining a lot here, making everything beautifully green. I love that this drainage hole has developed a micro ecosystem. It looks like the entrance to a tiny fairy kingdom.
Just finished up all the edits for my cozy fantasy fairytale and mythology retellings short story collection called Spell & the Heart. At 130 pages, I've tailored it for Kindle's short reads category so it'll be perfect for a relaxing afternoon of reading. Now I'm just waiting for the cover to be finished and hope to make a release announcement soon.

Hayo’s tea cart sat at the Thaumic crossroads. The sound of approaching horses signaled her day’s first customer. A warlord approached. “Murkesh brew” Hayo nodded & poured the tea leaves into the metal cup & swirled it around in the hot sand until it bubbled furiously. “Which way to Seta Village?” Hayo pointed towards the left fork. He nodded & led his legion as directed. Hayo smiled. Motri Fort was up the left fork & would kill the warlord's legion. Seta village was safe once again.

Tom sat by the campfire softly strumming his ukulele. His beat up & dirty backpack lay beside him. Across from him Bigfoot removed a kettle from the flames, pouring two cups of cocoa before handing one to Tom.
“It’s still hard to believe I’ve met the actual Bigfoot.” Tom took a sip of the sweet brew and sighed in contentment.
“I prefer Carl, if you don’t mind.”
They continued talking late into the evening telling each other about their adventures in the Pacific Cryptid Reserve. The next morning Tom awoke to find the hairy man gone as if he’d never been. Bigfoot, er Carl, continued to be as elusive as ever, mused Tom.

Maddy pushed her book cart through what was affectionately known as The Library at the End of the World. She knew the proper location for each carefully curated book. Scholars sat with their books, studying the thick texts. A few of her friends were also there for leisure reading. Quinn motioned her over and slid a steaming coffee mugs toward her. Maddy picked it up and took a sip of the rich, dark brew.
“Any news on your home bunker? he asked.
“It’s not looking good. The storm may have destroyed everything. I may be homeless and without family now,” Maddy said, blinking back tears.
Quinn reached out to touch her hand.
“No. This is your home and we’re your family.”
All around her new friends gathered to embrace her in a warm group hug.
