omg hello!! Sorry I haven’t been checking Tumblr, but unfortunately we just kind of dropped our projects because we were all busy with our own lives. I’m not so sure if we are going to keep translating because the other 2 are busier than me. :( I might start translating again because I don’t want to lose my Japanese skills, and might pick back up Neko to Spica 2 (since the raw provider asked me about that but I just saw it now). But I might need to recruit a cleaner, typesetter and QC. We’ll see! Thank you for the concern!! <3 <3 I’m so happy to come back to messages like this.

[Hatoya Tama] Neko to Spica - ch04 [Eng]

It's finally the release of the last chapter of Neko to Spica!

I'm sure you're surprised as there are so many questions left unanswered - where did Kuro come from, who's this guy who approached Kuro at the convenience store, etc. Please know that we are equally confused and curious! There is only 1 book of Neko to Spica, with 4 chapters of the main story, 1 Neko to Spica's extra chapter, and a oneshot titled "Baby Love Me". We will be releasing the extra chapter Saturday next week, and hopefully Baby Love Me the week after.

Considering Hatoya Tama-sensei's previous works, we assume that there might be a sequel to this work. But we're not sure, so let's not expect anything and just hope for it to happen.

Anyway, please enjoy this chapter to the fullest too!

Hello! Not tryna be mean and sorry for the weird question ,but do cleaners ,typesetters and redrawers have a "salary" or is it a non profit scanlation group?

Hi! No worries. But all scanlation groups are supposed to be non-profit since we’re not actually doing this in an official manner, so making money from this would be considered illegal. (well, illegal-er)

Some groups would set up donation buttons to help them buy actual copies to support the artists and/or to help with keeping up their websites.

And I can’t exactly speak for all groups, but LatteScans ourselves are doing this just for fun as a hobby, and to improve our Japanese skills (so RL will sometimes interferes). Plus we have received a lot from the community all this time, so we also want to contribute to something that we like.  Σd(≧w≦ )
