The only Bull of heaven track I truly feel like I can listen to is 029 "lions on a banner".
266 is also interesting - I imagined, this is what it would sound like to be under the ground near a geyser in Iceland, or as a little puppy not born yet, in the water in the stomach of your wolf mother. Very hot yet shivering, like I experienced in my dream (now neutral, not expressively pleasant), oppressive primordial underwater climate on all sides of the being. I can't listen to, and I've sampled what appears when you scratch the tip of their immense catalog, yet I am not brave to go further, why? For I see (hear) that their music has an incredibly incredibly sinister aspect to it. It is charged with an oppressive wicked energy. It is not my first time listening to drone or ambient, but this is very new to me, the sensation it gives me. I am not brave to go further. Someone has done wicked spells upon this music and charged it with this sinister energy. The samples I've heard from "like a wall in which an insect lives and gnaws" and "blurred with tears and suffering beyond hope" (now that I type it out, I realize, of course, that's what even the titles are meant to evoke!) are the worst offenders. I felt shackled in a cold dark dungeon's basement naked and afraid dirty and wet with mysterious mud and grime, oppressed and hopeless mite, the stain that a bug leaves on a white wall when it is crushed by a shoe. I am threatened by this sinister music. I wonder if one of the men behind it being blind (?) has something to do with it, perhaps that allows him to channel what exists beyond the firmament...
185 "submission to leaders, hostility to outsiders" - I hear such a noise every waking moment, and the only usefulness that this track has, that might make up for the tortures it has inflicted upon me, is that now I know that maybe I as well shall recreate the omnipresent Noise I am often speaking of, the sound of being awake. The oppressive, crushing sonic torture I am subject to, and have been for years. Therefore this was a difficult and personal/intimate listen.
(Though most of them have no aspect of beauty at all, and make me nauseous) You can never say which of their tracks is most beautiful, because you will never listen to all of them in their entirety to achieve fairness...
Of course, not taking into account that this whole band could be some stupid gimmicky joke.
