In honor of being cleared to go back to the gym by my doctor, here's a #TransformationThursday or #ThrowbackThursday. Whatever. 🤣 It's been 4 years, a month, & a day since. That's crazy to me seeing it typed out. It's crazy seeing where I was at my heaviest, to now. I've gained about 10 pounds but I've maintained so well. I'm proud of myself and I'm proud of my accomplishments. I will forever be grateful for making the decision, with a lot of help & support from my family, to become healthy and live better. Everyday is a new day & there are days that are way better than others. It's all about moderation. There are days where I don't eat healthy as I should, but I don't do it everyday. I don't let myself lose control everyday. I stay on top of it so I can maintain my weight and stay healthy. I'm still not where I want to be, but I'm nowhere near what I was and I'm so thankful for God, my family & His blessings. On January 22, 2013, my life completely changed for the better, and I will never go back to my 265lb self. If I had the choice to do it again, I would always choose to do it, time and time again. ❤ (at East Moline, Illinois)
