I remember when I first realised that the internet would be essential in my life development - about the same time I started this here Tumblr.

And watching this is the perfect encapsulation of why this wasn’t entirely good for my adhd brain.

Retrospective

Just had a little trip down memory lane through my tumblr archive.

It makes me realise how much past me loved colour - technicolour - and all things sparkly, detailed and very feminine.

Interesting to notice this because it still feels very much like past me, but not at all like present day me - and I’m not sure if that’s because it was a different time (trends, socioeconomic circumstances, etc) or because I was different.. Younger, more naive and full of energy.

I can’t help but notice though that so many of my thoughts and struggles haven’t changed - so at least I’m consistent in that regard.

I’m limping towards the finish line of 2020 - 3 weeks of work to go coinciding with a wall of hormones hitting me and a lot of work on my plate. The struggle is real...

So glad I’ve stuck with Schitt’s Creek. I think it took until season 3 or 4 for me to really get the hang of the characters, but it was worth it for this love story.
