McCartney: The thought of you sexting actually makes me feel queasy.
Lawrence: Never thought we'd actually agree on something.
evelyn-laurent:
“That’s funny. I thought you would do it for an aesthetic choice. Like those people that purposefully use older technology and say it’s better.”
“It is better though and I am prepared to argue if needed.”

McCartney: That sounds dirty. Stop trying to sext me, Law.
Lawrence: I have not. I am not. I will not ever sext you.
“Wanna know why I wear wired headphones instead of the air pods? So that way you’ll see I have them in and not try to do this chatty thing.”

McCartney: You can't let just anyone have me.
Lawrence: Then be a grown ass woman and take care of yourself.

McCartney: Wow. Wasteful little bugger you are, huh?
Lawrence: Leaving you free to have someone else find you.

McCartney: It has already been dropped in your driveway. It's yours, deal.
Lawrence: Trash it is.

McCartney: It's your issue now. Your drunk Uncle Al left you the Camry in his will.
Lawrence: Just because it is in a will doesn't mean I have to take it. I decline.
texts | mccartney + lawrence
McCartney: Because CLEARLY I have been mistreated.
Lawrence: Considering I don't own the Camry that isn't my issue.

McCartney: What the hell is wrong with a Camry? We're dependable!
Lawrence: If you're dependable why are you broken down?
texts | mccartney + lawrence
McCartney: What about when your car breaks? Think of me as like a 2012 Toyota Camry. I'm not that wonderful, but I'm just valuable enough that you can't just throw me in a scrap yard.
Lawrence: I would never have a Camry so this is a very good comparison.

McCartney: You're in for a rude awakening, I've chosen you to fix me.
Lawrence: Want to know what I do with broken things? I throw them out.
texts | mccartney + lawrence
McCartney: Well then what are you going to do to mend my broken heart?
Lawrence: Nothing. Agreeing that you aren't okay was all I planned here.

McCartney: I'm not 100% sure how this happened... but I can't stop listening to Taylor Swift. Did I go through a break up I don't know about? Am I okay?
Lawrence: No.
“And unless it involves copious amounts of alcohol to soften the blow, I really don’t think I want to be involved in this at all.” Vera scrunched up her face at the thought.
“The fact that you think I could get through us spending time together without it, is outstanding on its own.”
McCartney’s mental struggles had gotten leaps and bounds better, but the sight of the fire blazing seemingly brought her right back to square one. She’d wanted to help, an expert by no means, but she had some skills, but as she approached, she now found herself frozen in place, right in the way, a figure contacting her as they ran by almost knocking her over, more due to her trance than anything. “Fuck,” she let out as she stumbled.
“Let’s not survive a crash and have you die from being a klutz,” Lawrence put out a hand to pull her up. It wasn’t hard to see that something wasn’t right when he looked at her.
mccartney-fox:
“Red tape doesn’t scare me. I’ll fight for this thing,” she gave him a shrug, her smile small as it poked up her lips. “You have to realize by now I’m going to misinterpret your words no matter what.”
“Go ahead. Watching you fight for nothing might be almost amusing enough for me to stand you,” he shrugged. “At least you’ll stay consistent in being wrong.”
