also IMAGINE being jack starbright in the pilot. u move to london for school and you need cash so you start nannying this like 10 year old british orphan with giant blue eyes and a million strange talents and hobbies his insanely boring uncle (and your boss) is always making him take up. and then six years later you've just graduated and you're about to quit even though you feel terrible bc you lowkey helped raise this kid when suddenly his boring uncle (and your boss) dies suspiciously and now you basically have a child. and then when you try to help your kid (??????) through the unimaginable grief of losing the last of his family (because he's getting scarily stuck in denial/bargaining and you don't really know what to do about it) immigration services shows up to deport you for no reason and while you're arguing with them and also trying to field cps your kid (!!!!!!!!) picks up his phone, says 'i know ur already listening. i'll do it. fuck.' and suddenly the cops are gone and he's saying 'i gotta go!' and now your (??????) kid you've been taking care of since he was in british fourth grade is getting in the back of a big black car with evil stannis baratheon and NOT TELLING YOU SHIT. i'd crash out.
