Definitely will be painting more grapes. I was intimidated for years but ended up really enjoying it!
P.S. I just listed prints of the aperitif painting
Is there going to be a print of Apéritif? Am I just too tired and not seeing it on your site? Would love to get one:)
Yes!! It’ll be available soon!

Hi, I just found your work and I LOVE it! Something I’m always curious about that has kept me from delving too far into oil painting as a hobby: how do you manage the solvents and pigments safely when it’s in your house? How do you deal with/dispose of rags and stuff? Like is there a convenient way to set this up when you have 1 table for everything in your apartment or do you kind of need a separate room/studio space?
I do almost all my painting on one desk because I tend to work pretty small, so that part is totally doable as long as you aren’t keeping a whole inventory of supplies that you need a closet for (which I do since it’s my job, but not super necessary if you’re more of a hobbyist I wouldn’t think). As far as disposing of stuff I can’t speak on that because I don’t have the metal trashcan that you’re supposed to use, and probably don’t do a great job of throwing stuff out in the safest way. I will say that I use the same jar of solvent for like a year straight because all the sediment settles at the bottom, so I’m really not disposing of solvent like… basically ever, I just swap it into a new silicoil jar when the pile of sediment exceeds the height of the metal coil thing 😂
What reds and oranges do you use the most? Your paintings are so bright!
Permanent rose, cadmium red light, and cadmium yellow bright! Sometimes hansa yellow deep as well
silver origami crane ✨ I had about 100 of these hanging from my bedroom ceiling when I was a kid. Second painting postpartum—Fern turned 10 weeks old on Sunday!
Work in progress. I can squeeze in a couple hours of painting on the weekends right now if I get lucky. Itching to get back to this one tomorrow maybe!
painted this 4 years ago today, 2 years into my painting practice

Hi!! I hope this is okay to ask here - is the black friday sale still on today? And does one need to add any specific code or anything to get the 2nd print half price discount? Hope you're having a good weekend!
The sale actually got extended until the end of the day tomorrow bc I had some technical difficulties with Shopify today! No need for a code or anything, the discounts are automatic :)
