CAKE was a good time! Chicago has the best hand painted murals and storefront decor I’ve seen in any US city.

This is an illustration I did a while back for the cover of International Girl Gang Underground #2, a really cool feminist zine co-edited by Kate Wadkins & Stacy Konkiel. The issue has been on hold with its release date TBD, but stay tuned! 👀

I’ll be conducting a 10-minute live-action comics & audio/visual performance called “BOTOX HARMONY” as part of The Consequences, along with 7 other talented cartoonists, artists, and performers, each with their own 10-minute set. Spring Status update:

- Open Space’s PMF VI in Baltimore last weekend was a blast, as usual. Met so many cool new peeps, bought some sweet jewelry, tapes cassettes, ceramics, zines, and more (pics to come, maybe). I also did a short interview for the Human Eye Podcast (TB uploaded/archived soon), thanks to Max and Miranda! Woo.

- This weekend (April 11-12th), while I'm not officially tabling at MoCCA, I will be lurking around with a few books/zines on hand. Come find me and say ‘hi’, wherever I may be! 🙈

- Friday, April 24th at 8pm, I will be doing a short comics performance for The Consequences in conjunction with BK Zine Fest. RSVP HERE! I may also be debuting my new tape/solo music project at this event, so stay tuned ;-)

- I will be tabling at TCAF this year!! May 9th & 10th, in the Wowee Zonk Small Press Room. Can anyone house me one of these night? ;-p

- I will also be tabling at CAKExpo June 6th & 7th, along with the greatly talented and forever radical Karissa Sakumoto.

In addition to all those things, I’m currently working on a few short comics for various anthologies this month, and will soon after be getting started on a longer comics project, aaaaand some other things (vagueness, vagueness, vagueness). Also an actual website and store update to come (like, for serious this time. Really!)
