Don’t Come Between Me And My Goals
When I’m focused on a goal, there is no way on earth someone can stop me achieving it.

I am overly aware this picture flatters nothing. But at 6 weeks postpartum, I am closer to the crow pose now then before having Benjamin.
Just because I'm feeling really good lately ✌🏼️🎀

REBLOG OR LIKE IF YOU
- are pregnant - are ttc - are a mommy or daddy - have twins - are into health and nutrition - have a sense of humour - have a pulse - actually read this
I need some interesting people to follow and interact with. “Best of Tumblr” blogs only fill part of the void.
Fed up I tell yeah.
I have been stuck in early labour since Monday. It is now Thursday. I had a steroid shot last night, since I'm 36 weeks, and my contractions are down to 3-4 minutes apart (and nope they have not stopped still going strong) Only 2cm dilated, the contractions are not strong enough for them to keep me. I go in for my second dose of steroids this afternoon and see my dr as well. I know he needs him time to cook but god this little guy needs to make his entrance into this world mommas getting miserable!
If there's anything I've learned from being pregnant.
-Your body can do some awesome stuff. -Hormones are nothing until you’re pregnant. -Food is your best and worse friend you have. -You don’t have to be sick to throw up. -People will comment on your body and think it’s all of a sudden ok. -Gaining weight is not always the end of the world. -You can be more tired than you thought you could. -Baby kicks are better than people explain. -Sleep is not an easy thing to get. -Stretch marks are itchy and appear out of what seems thin air. -Your partners shirts are for more than just bed time. -People don’t want to know how you’re doing, they want to know about baby. -Do not put any other pregnant lady down, she has it just as hard or harder for her self right now. And she needs support just like you.
Still relevant the second time around 👌🏼
Motherhood doesn’t come with age, you can be 16 and be an amazing mother and you can be 32 and be a terrible mother, it can also be the other way around. Don’t. Let. People. Define. Who. You. Are. Don’t listen to people, don’t let them put a question mark to your motherly instinct. Stay true to yourself.
So I'm 30 weeks and 4 days!! Little man has dropped and I've been losing my mucus plug. I know that that doesn't mean that he's actually on his way. But still I've been having this gut feeling for weeks now that he will be here before his expected time. I'm just happy we've made it this far, I have a Drs, appointment on Monday, last time I went in he said that I lager than my dates so he wants to do an ultra sound to get a better look at things. Which excites me! Part of me is really hoping that they messed up Like they did when I was pregnant with Sophia and that my little man will be here soon rather than later. If not oh well he an take all the time he needs to to keep cooking but a momma can hope!
To make vaccination visits less stressful for your toddler or preschooler, be honest with her — explain what a shot is and what she can expect when she’s at the doctor’s office. Tell her there will be a quick pinch (or two) and that the pain she’ll feel will be over in a second. Tap her on the arm to show just how quick a second is. If she’s got an older sibling, enlist his support by having him talk about how he got shots, too, and it wasn’t so bad. Time your talk for the day before or morning of your visit so your little one doesn’t have a chance to let anxiety build over several days.
We never force him to kiss or hug anyone. I’d much rather have my kid upset a friend or relative than let someone touch him when he didn’t want them to.
