Extra Notes

I’ve been receiving a lot of messages recently about whether I have extra notes on certain topics and certain subjects. Sometimes people flat out send me their homework questions. I did my Leaving Cert in 2013 and uploaded my notes for my friends to look at, and the blog sort of escalated in a way that I never expected. I really appreciate everyone’s questions and messages, but I don’t have any more notes (I gave all my written notes away), and I’m not some sort of internet genie who’s going to do your homework for you. I don’t check the blog that often, and I just don’t want people to be waiting on responses from me for weeks on end, hence why I’m writing this. I’m sorry if the notes I’ve uploaded don’t cover your course material or your chosen subjects, but it was never my intention to create a website that covered every subject in detail. I hope this clears thing up. I’m so glad that my notes have helped so many people through what is arguably the most difficult set of exams you will ever have to do, and I hope that they continue to do so. Good luck x

Just wanted to quickly say good luck to all of you starting your exams tomorrow. I have just finished second year and I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve been really stressed out and thought to myself “at least it’s not the leaving”. I can honestly say that you will never again experience the stress that you are feeling right now. It’s a horrific set of exams, but it’s a means to an end and you will feel so proud and accomplished when they are over. Your kind messages have been a huge support to me when I’ve felt overwhelmed during my own exams in college, and I’m so glad to know that my notes have helped you too. At this stage you’ve probably learned everything a hundred times over, so just take a deep breath, power through the next few weeks, and then enjoy the summer!

Ok so in Ireland our final exam that determines what college we go to etc., is called the Leaving Cert. and these are direct quotes from people’s English paper 1 stories/essays. Not even joking.
