✮·.·´¯`·.·✮ Such days were like the living nightmare on earth. Times where the sky would already appear rather dark and clear pretty soon as the blond haired student would leave university. The way home wasn’t that long but also not that short. A hard time for the slender male to act calm as he nervously walked through the town, passing a few shining lights glowing down on him. Making his golden hair visible from far away.
Darkess was horrible. Toyo always felt like he would be swallowed by it. He was alone. Weak. Without any kind of strength to even defend himself. He hated it but couldn’t do much against it as he just kept on walking, hoping no one would start bothering him or even talk to him. During such times, the boy’s anxiety was actually ten times bigger.
Night-shifts were the biggest inconvenience in the world and he has to direct traffic for tonight. He had to be thankful that there are less cars this time. It bad enough that it's dark enough to where only the street lights stand out. It's not like he can't see that there are people on the streets. They're just hard to tell from the darkness.
Strangely enough, he noticed something bright moving in the pitch black background. He had a flashlight in hand and curious enough to approach the apparition, or so he thought as it turns out to be a person. Lucas should mind his own business as to where this person was going, but it looked it he needed some help.
Lucas pointed the flashlight at the man. "Sir, are you lost?"
SEVEN SINS HEADCANON PROMPTS
Lust: Write a detailed sexual fantasy your character has had about someone else. Could be their lover/boyfriend/girlfriend/one of their friends or some random stranger. You may specify the person if you wish.
Gluttony: Write about the one food or dish your character would eat every day if they could. Describe why they like the taste or what got them into this particular dish. Is it a family recipe or something they read/watched being demonstrated elsewhere? Would they cook it for their lover and/or friends?
Greed: If your character suddenly won a vast amount of money, list all the selfish/self-centered purchases they would make.
Sloth: Your character has nothing to do all day. No work, homework or upcoming projects. Even their friends aren’t answering their phones. So how do he or she spend their lazy afternoon?
Wrath: Give us a blow by blow instance of where your character was so angry they couldn’t contain it or deal with it in a normal fashion. Time for some good old fisty-cuffs, whether it’s against another person or an inanimate object, sometimes it helps to just hit something.
Envy: Describe a time where your character wanted something so desperately that it drives them to distraction. Could be another person’s possession, lover, position, etc. Get creative as to what your character would desire most and how they would react to see someone else enjoying it instead.
Pride: Describe the one thing your character takes great pride in. What would they give everything else up for, but will hold sacred this one thing. It could be a personal attribute, their friends, lover or a belief. Simply put, make them lose everything save this one thing and make them fight to keep it.
It’s weird to find a person as young as him to care more about books than his health. “Now, now, accidents happen.” He reassured, flipping through the pages. His eyesight weren’t at its the best, but he was sure that nothing got on the book. “Why are you worrying so much when you’re about to buy it?” He snorted out a soft chuckle, even he never acted this way over a paper cut when he was his age, or maybe it’s because he was used to getting scratched by tree branches back in Norway.
“Yeah. I do seem to attract a few accidents now and then.”
Page laughed a bit more easily than he would have if he was with someone his age. He could deal with elders just fine. When he was young, those who were older than him didn’t care that he read so many books. Some even liked it. Page flexed his now bandaged finger. He shrugged his shoulders.
”I tend to worry a lot about nonessential things. And I prefer to not ruin books.” He glanced around the bookshop. “This is the first time I’ve been in here.”
"Is that so?" Now that he think about it, theres no way that he could have been harmed by a slip of paper so easily. It's possible that book was already possessed by a little spirit that wanted to live in its own fictional world. "The it's probably your first time in this kind of bookstore." He spoke as if it were normal. "I don't think that paper cut was an accident-" Perhaps he have said too much. It's not like he would believe Felix. "Nevermind, I'm just spouting something crazy. Don't listen to me."
It's probably a little irritated that its story hasn't finished yet. Felix might want have to give a lecture to the apparition after this.
Reblog if you have this:
…and are willing to share it with people that want to get to know you
It didn’t matter how small the cut is. Even if this is a bookstore, the well-being of the customer is of primary concern. Felix went to the side and brought a tissue and a bandage. He brought the youth’s finger and dabbed away the blood until it stopped running then he finished it by wrapping the bandage around it
Felix wasn’t startled by the youth’s attitude towards his cut, however he should take care of himself more it seems. “Don’t tell me you do this every time you buy a book?”
It wasn’t his first papercut and Page suspected it wouldn’t be his last. He loved books too much. And while his fingers were bit harder due to years of handling books, they weren’t indesctructible. He knew at least to take better care of the books. The second he noticed he had a papercut he, has instantly pushed the book away. Although he suspected some blood still landed on the sheets.
Page flushed, embarrassed. “No. I suppose I was just too excited with this book. I’m sorry. I think I ruined it. I’ll buy it.”

“You don’t have to worry so much. It’s just a papercut.” Page was used to papercuts. But he suppose to other people, the blood running over his fingers was a bit concerning. “It’s nothing,” he mumbled, not used to such concern showed over him.

"That should suffice." That alone satisfied Casper. He clicked the top of his pen preparing to take notes. "What do you have to say off the top of your head?"
The blond blinked. This was a bit confusing. “Well honestly all I can think about is what you’re doing.”
That wasn't exactly the answer he wanted, but he began writing what he said anyway. On the corner of the page he wrote:
Note: The man wasn't sure what to come up with. Maybe if I ask him some specific question, he'll have something intriguing to write about.
Casper doesn't exactly have a lot questions regarding European history. He only has a basic understanding of it based on how the general population knows about it.
Thinking about it. He managed to think up a legit question after all. "What did you know about Machiavelli? What caused him to be ambitious? Why was his book, The Prince, so significant?" He hoped that this man has a fountain of information to tell.
Hiring a complete stranger on the spot was new to the old timer. “You have weird taste in people, girl. You barely knew me and you’re offering me a job and a place?” It looks like she’s not your average udon shop owner. He would really like to now what had hit her in the head to say such things.
"You are being way too kind to a stranger." He could take up on her offer. Save a few bucks for the road and whatnot. "I don’t expect to stay here for long. There’s someone that I have to find."
”Well there’s that, or I would be known as the store owner who lets muckers solicit their store business.” Rumors were a fickle thing in this area of Tokyo, finding it more troublesome to let them spread instead facing it head on to stop them completely. “Plus, there’s nothing wrong with having strange tastes. You don’t look like a guy interested in a lot of things, and as long as you don’t fuck up too much with serving future customers, you’d be getting paid for your services. A win-win if you ask me.”
The somewhat younger woman groaned. “Yeah, it’s a dumb decision, but I’m a dumb person. If you’re going to leave soon, then isn’t it the better for you since you’d save money for wherever the hell you go?” She rubbed the back of her head in frustration, crouching down to the same level as the older looking man. “If it’s inconvinient you can say no, otherwise, you’re going to shower and prepare to serve within the next hour.”
Admittedly, he could use a shower for once. How long ago has he even bathed himself clean? 6 months ago? Public baths weren't his favorite places to go, even if he had a few coins to spare. There were just too many people there to make him clean himself up in peace.
"You are so weird..." It's not his problem if she can't put up with him. "You'll give me money and a futon to sleep on as long as I take orders from customers?"
"Are you sure?" He said as if the deal was about to be sealed.
He kept his eyes in the same direction before turning to her accepting the chopsticks. Why was that lady concerned about an old man that she saw for the first time. Maybe that’s her way of shooing away loiterers who stayed in one place. Well, she was right about his appearance. He’s an absolute mess, but at least he still has a nice face.
Once he unwrapped the chopsticks, he dig in at the bowl making loud, obnoxious slurps that can be heard some kilometers away. Some passing eyes were glued to him like they are witnessing an animal feeding. Those same eyes redacted once he set the bowl down and they went on about their business.
Man, when was the last time he had a meal like that?
The man seemed very detached from the world altogether, making the woman feel a twinge of sympathy for him. Of course, Chiaki would have to keep herself from growing attached the the man, it was wrong to constantly use him as a leftover eater and simple conversationist. ven though talking didn’t seem to be his forte.
Picking up the bowl, the woman gav e a muddled, if frustrating sigh. She was running low on workers this season, and it would be a waste to see this man disappear not knowing it living status…. ”Work with me,” was Chiaki’s only comment, biting her lop as if she wasn’t sure if that’s how she could recruit a person.
”Not like it’s worth it or anything, but you’ll have a room and roof over your head with cash.”

The science witch trials
Tegami has sat here in front of the udon shop for a while dozing off. He stopped paying attention to his surroundings until a click of china along with the scent of salty broth got his attention. He was more fixated on the bowl and forgot what the last sentence that came out of the lady’s mouth. “Thanks,” As he happily receives his first meal in a while. “If I could,” he spoke under his breath, “I wish I could scrounge up some money to pay you back.” Yet it’s the promise he breaks the most, even if he wanted to.
“Well if wishes were horses, beggars could ride,” she retorts, holding wrapped chopstciks in his direction. “Why not just do something about it, ou keep looking like it’s your last day on earth with you scrawny appearance.”
She pauses on her speech, thinking over what she wants to say so to not anger the gentleman and sighs. “Whatever, when you’re finished just leave the bowl here and I’ll pick it up for you.”

Man, when was the last time he had a meal like that?
It shouldn’t come off as a huge surprise seeing the older man perch himself in the front of her restuarant, looking as though he has not been eating on a daily. She comes out, holding a simple bowl of udon and fried tofu.
“This is becoming routine you know.” Chiaki says, rubbing the back of her neck with a free hand as she sets the bowl on the cement. “Are you okay with this?”
