Honesty IS the Best Policy

So the real reason I actually started to get on this app is because I needed to find another outlet to express myself. I feel like even with Instagram and Facebook and Snapchat, we only let ourselves be viewed at a certain percentage. We put out what we want to have perceived. On here I want to give 99.9% of myself. Good and bad Why? Because why not? Yea I could find a more productive way of expressing myself or even just go out and taste the world but that’s kind of limited sometimes being in the military. It’s still feasible but I’m not really an outdoor kind of person. I am what you would probably call an extrovert-introvert. I’ll make the best of a setting if I’m taken out of my comfort place but I rather be in my sanctuary by myself.

Confidence is Key...the Master Key

There’s undoubtedly a tremendous difference between cocky and confident. You want to strive to be confident. Confident is humble. Cocky? Cocky is conceded and vain. I’m actually so proud of my growth from when I was getting bullied in high school everyday to now me be a little more outspoken, carrying myself a little stronger, and just loving myself. Self love is so crucial because if you don’t love yourself, who will? And you can’t just rely on others to make you feel adequate, you have to feel that within. Others can only give you temporary satisfaction and support. You have to be self reliant. You have to be confident. You have to recognize that you’re amazing.

So it’s 820 on a Monday and I’m headed to work, I actually get promoted today so I’m super optimistic for today.

I have work in the morning so unfortunately I can’t just stay up all night in the abyss of the internet. Responsibilities are so great. I’m saying I’m gonna go to bed when in actuality I have to clear my bed off before I can actually sleep in it and I also have to get my friend’s laundry for him. Which means I have to go down 4 flights of steps, search for his laundry and come back up 4 flights of steps... Life. Some apple juice would be nice.

Starting from scratch?

I’m really going to TRY to post everyday. I unfollowed everyone I was following 5 years ago and I’m literally building from the ground up. I want to be more social media savvy so I’m going to attempt to put myself out there more because just being on facebook, instagram and twitter just isn’t enough. I want people to actually get to know me.
