All this scheming makes me tired. Did you even sleep last night? It’s a great plan. I smuggled the antiserum in in wine bottles and at the wedding I’ll replace them, what can go wrong?

I did sleep.. for like an hour. It needs to be more than great it needs to be perfect. Do you know if the wine bottles are the same as the ones Violet ordered for the wedding?

You can’t sleep! The wedding is in a few days and we need to make sure that our plan is fool proof. I’m freaking out here.

No Harry it’s okay I got this. My help comes with no strings attached okay? That’s the thing about snoring, you can’t hear it but everyone else does. I wouldn’t dare push you off the bed. What kind of monster do you think I am?

Now that “Mr Reed” is dead that might not be the problem. I just heard that the bride is kinda losing it because of the serum. Hopefully she doesn’t hurt any of us.

The FBI can be jealous of my capacities. I think you’re right, it took some time with the actual serum too. Do you remember what really happened to you when you were influenced by it? So we can test if it disappears? I could make you mad by, I don’t know, breaking your favorite vase? I think we do, we deserve happiness and no more people trying to kill us. Okay, okay, we’re going for cake with icing since you’re my partner in crime, I don’t want you to step up because the cake only had fruit on it. With his fire fingers I hate it even more to make him mad. Of course, you saved my life, how could I think you’re a bad person? I need something good, like a speech for the bride and groom, maybe say that where I grew up it brings bad luck when you don’t drink from your glass after a speech?

I think I can could sense if something bad was going to happen but that doesn’t seem like much of a power and I don’t know how we’d test it. Is there any way to test my blood? That might work for us. I’m so done with people trying to kill us. I like being your partner in crime who gets icing. It’s a lot of fun. Fire fingers? That sounds terrible for someone with a temper problem. Thank you for seeing the good in me. Hmm I think that sounds good. Nobody would question that. You give the speech, they drink the wine and it’s all over. What could go wrong? It’s a fool proof plan.

It does? That’s great! One thing less to worry about. [He took another sip of his wine] We will, are you feeling any different yet? No one can hurt me, or us. If you want icing on the cake it will have icing, and I will not complain about how unhealthy it is. I don’t know, who’s going to believe me? If I tell Adrian he’ll only get mad for me attacking her. Of course. She can’t say bad things about you like that. You’re not The Informer anymore. I’m going to stop her, I’m going to make sure she drinks that antiserum.

You did a good job with it. [She shakes her head] Not yet but I guess it will take some time to kick in. Good because we deserve some happiness now after all the stupid things that have happened Harry. I try my best to be healthy but right now I really want cake with icing. [She sighs] That is true and we know how he gets when he’s angry. Thank you for seeing the best in me. I will never be the Informer again. You need to make sure they both take the serum. I think Adrian and Violet are going to be very dangerous if we don’t take their powers away.

Which one was it again? [he joked and laughed. He let her take a sip of his wine first, before staring at her with the glass with the serum] Okay, now that one - is it weird I’m a little excited? I’ve had enough crazy people hurt me before they even had powers, so I’m kind of done with both. It sounds great, when do you want to go? How about after we cured this town to celebrate? I can buy a cake and pretend I baked it. They think it makes them better, I think we shouldn’t need it but there are ways to handle them. She can’t control it. I attacked her because she said something bad about you, but then I apologized and when she did she just kept on attacking me like she was .. possessed or something.

[She took a sip of the wine] It tastes like wine so that’s a good thing. No it’s not weird Harry, I’m excited too. We’ll be saving the day. I don’t want anyone to hurt you ever again.I think going after we cure everyone sounds like a good idea. We can celebrate it. Will the cake have icing on it? Wow that sounds dangerous. Are you going to tell someone about what she did? Thank you for standing up for me Harry. We can’t let her hurt other people. What if she gets mad at someone else and hurts them? Someone who doesn’t have powers.

I’ll be right back okay? [He walked out, coming back with two wine glasses] Now this one is yours, I shouldn’t mess that up. Mine is just wine. [He laughed] Here, take a sip of mine, that’s the normal wine. After that you can drink the serum and while we test it we should also see if you still taste it in the wine. Before someone who knows the antiserum will recognize it and don’t drink it. Because power is scary, we can’t have them turning against us with those powers. [He smiled] A lake does contain water. But if you like that it sounds great. You won’t get on my bad side. Maybe you’re right somewhere. I don’t completely control it, but when I do it’s because I know I can control it if I use all my strength for that.

[She looks at the wine glasses and nods her head] No you shouldn’t mess it up [she laughs a little] That’s a good idea. You want to make sure it’s tasteless. We don’t want crazy people with powers trying to hurt us. Well we won’t go in the lake so it should be okay. I think you have a more realistic view on these powers compared to people like Violet. She thinks she can save the world or something but I don’t think she can even control it.

You’ll be a hero eventually. We’re not going to let that happen again. And serum or no serum, you are nothing like him. But I’ll take this serum away from you just in case, and then from everyone else. I just got enough courage to ask you, I didn’t think this far yet. Where would you like to go? I prefer anything without boats or planes. I wish it had an on-off button though. I have to work on not attacking people when they insult me. Where I’d normally roll my eyes now they’re the ones rolling to the ground.

Thank you Harry. We can’t take the risk, power is a very scary thing if it’s not contained in some way. We just shouldn’t have these kind of abilities. [She laughs] That’s really funny Harry. Do you want to have a picnic by the lake? I promise there won’t be any boats or planes. I get that. Well remind me not to get on your bad side. Maybe it’s more psychological.. I think the serum does make things worse but it all comes down to having mental control over it.

Are you sure? It’s not like you don’t have a choice because it’s me, if you’re too scared you can say it too - but eventually I’ll have to test it on everyone. We’re never getting a chance like that wedding again. [He smiled] So, okay, yes. We’ll do that. A date. Not really exactly.. but I’m learning to control it by calming myself down. It’s getting better.

I know that but if it’s going to help everyone eventually then I don’t mind being the first person. I’ve seen what too much power can do to people.. look at what my dad did. I don’t want that to happen again. The wedding is the perfect place for it. Where are you going to take me Fields? Well see that’s a good start. As long as you can control it.

That’s great Harry! [She looked at him and nodded her head] Of course I’ll stay. You don’t have to worry about it. Harry.. it’s also okay if you don’t take it. You can control yourself.. it’s the others who can’t do that. You are a great doctor who can help so many people.

Do you want to test it? If you get sick, I’ll be there to take care of you, but I think it’s not dangerous to anyone. I was thinking, maybe, when all of this is over, we could uhm maybe would you like to go on a date? With me? I don’t want to be a hypocrite, if I’m the only one not taking it. What if I can’t control myself? After all I attacked Violet.

I could do that Harry. I want to show you that your anti serum works and it's good. [Leila smiles] I would like to go on a date with you. Thank you for asking. I understand that but look you haven't attacked anyone again. That seems like you are controlling it. I think that part is in your mind.

It’s working, and no side-effects.. yet. [He smiled and hugged her back, rubbing her back] Lei, do you remember that promise you made? I.. I feel a bit weird, and scared. If my brain.. if it turns back to it’s old state.. will you stay?
