Tomorrow I head home. Well not my home island,which is Oahu, but I'm going to the Big Island, Hawaii. Looking forward to some local grinds (food), visiting my Ohana, cheering my hālau (hula school) at the Ho’ike on Wednesday, and taking in the Merrie Monarch (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merrie_Monarch_Festival). I actually got tickets for the competition ( all 3 nights) so I get to see it in person, and I’m so excited!!!!
Anyways, I will be gone for around ten days and probably won't get to post much, if anything. I’m sure I will have tons of pics to share when I return ;). Hope each and ever one of you have a fantastic week+!
