Ray Thundura / Lei Shi Dating Headcanons

A/N: The headcanons take place in the normal AOTU World timeline. A separate post covering relationship headcanons in the AOTU Campus timeline will be made soon. NOT PROOFREAD BTW!!!

🍺: Being able to date him in the first place would be an insane accomplishment itself. You definitely had to gain Camil's trust first or else he wouldn't want to be anywhere near you.

🍺: His pirate crew gives you special treatment per his order, of course. That means that Pelley doesn't get to bark and howl at you like the rabid animal that he is. Ray doesn't trust Palos around you so he makes Camil keep a closer eye on you.

🍺: Y'know how I said that he doesn't trust Palos around you? Yeah, that skyrockets when it comes to Anmicius. Everytime you and Anmi cross paths and he's around, his guard goes up by the tenfold. Even going as far as to initiating physical touch just so that he knows that you aren't leaving his side and Anmi isn't even thinking about courting you.

🍺: During battle itself however, he keeps his distance. He knows that his brother is in the audience watching so he distances himself from you to keep both you and your relationship with him safe. Ray usually makes his crew split up with Camil protecting you and his other two henchmen following him.

🍺: Lower ranking contestants fear you. They know about your relationship with him so rest assured you won't be needing to worry about some low lives pestering you during the round. Higher ranking contestants like Godrose would try to use you as blackmail material whenever they're talking shit with Ray during mid-battle. Rest assured that he isn't phased by any of this because well, Camil is with you at all times. There's nothing to worry about, right?

🍺: Doesn't indulge in the thought of petnames and would rather just call you by your name out of pure respect. But on the rare occasion that he calls you one, it's always one of the classics. His favourite name to call you is his 'treasure'. Pirates look for treasure all the time, and he's certainly found his.

🍺: Likes to tease you a lot. Since Ray's been gifted with the ability to manipulate lightning, he likes to shock you a bit. Not enough to hurt you, he would never forgive himself if he did. It would be like the sting you get from static electricity.

🍺: Lets you hold his hammer. Ray trusts you enough to let you hold his weapon and even go as far as probably polish it for him. He doesn't let you use it however, you're far too frail in his eyes to wield something as grand and powerful as his weapon. That, and he doesn't trust that you'll be able to control it.

🍺: Does NOT let you touch his bandana. I'm sorry, he would NOT appreciate it if you just took it off from him in an unprecedented manner. He does however, let you fiddle with the ends whenever you're scared or you just need to cling onto something.

7. i'm only writing for donghua featured characters. i dont have the game and im not caught up with the manhua as of yet. instead of risking mischaracterization of your faves, i just wont write for characters who arent in the donghua.
