So I’m probably two years too late on this, but I was watching Danger and noticed these “Defend Equality” posters in the background of this scene

And I searched them up and they’re actually real posters

I dug a bit further (legit did more research than I do for school) and found out they were created by a company called Shepard Fairey to raise awareness for a movement to overturn CA Proposition 8, and this was a law passed in November of 2008 in California to ban same sex couples from marrying, making it illegal.

Finding this info out literally just reconfirmed why I love and stan BTS so much, BECAUSE THEY RAISE AWARENESS FOR THESE TYPES OF ISSUES IN THEIR VIDEOS THAT MOST KPOP GROUPS WOULD PROBABLY IGNORE/RUN AWAY FROM. 

WE STAN KINGS WHO CONSTANTLY SUPPORT LGBTQ RIGHTS, AND I COULDN’T BE PROUDER.
