Emily and Cole’s wedding September 24, 2011
Emily & Cole got married at a private home in Tennessee at 5:30 in the evening. The theme of their wedding was an elegant, garden-feel with green, white champagne and blush pink seasonal flowers, live spanish moss, succulents, seasonal silver and variegated foliages and glass and silver mercury vessels. Their primary flowers of choice were garden roses, lysianthus, antique hydrangeas, dahlias , green dianthus and succulents.
Emily’s Bridal Bouquet was a delicate and loose combination of different varieties of White , ivory, champagne and pale pink garden Roses and hybrid teas roses with a simple raffia tie and the natural stems of the flowers displayed. This bouquet complimented her beautiful Ivory dress.
The bridesmaid bouquets were a loose combination of seasonal white and green flowers including antique hydrangeas with silver foliage and variegated ivy with simple raffia.
The groomsmen & groom’s boutonnieres consisted of seasonal flowers and foliages
The Flower girl carried a Basket of petals with flowers and ribbons.
The Dog Collar bore a Small wrist type corsage.
For the ceremony, a small grebe of antique green hydrangeas tied with Raffia adorned every other row of chairs.
Cocktail hour consisted of high Boy tables adorned with little glass jars with flowers and succulents and a tablecloth of beige polycotton tablecloth with Thick burlap ribbon.
Iron urns containing moist and bright ferns were displayed in front of the main house.
For the reception the guest’s and bridal estate table centerpieces consisted of candles in footed glass and glass jars, little perfume bottles holding seasonal white flowers, herbs, moss and succulents which smelled divine. The linens used were burlap & beige polycotton with an open weave burlap runner from end to end.
Emily & Cole’s bridal table included mercury glass candles, small perfume bottles with seasonal white flowers and brown candelabras with Ivory taper candles.
